5:12 idk if this has been answered yet but the reason behind the villager being turned is it's still counted as zombie damage killing the villager. Tip. Next time you want to test turning villagers. Set the game difficulty to hard it guarantees that the villager will turn into a zombie villager instead of dying when killed by a zombie
