Lemon Bundt Cake (our Recipe of the Year from way back in 2017!) is a lovely golden cake, extra-moist and perfectly tangy thanks to its fresh lemon juice glaze. Kye's in the kitchen to show you how baking this cake in a Bundt pan turns it from everyday to special-occasion. I just use soft butter brushed in the pan cover it all liberaly then cover with flour keep up yer guid work fae Scotland thanks.

I have just mise en place my ingredients for this enticing recipe. Because my old Bundt pan is so old, I’m going to swap it for my 6 cavity Nordic ware mini Bundt pans. I have 3 of these pans so I will have enough. I also mixed 3 Tbsp KA lemon juice powder in the 3 cups of flour to give it an added kick! I will update this comment later when I find out how it turns out! Thanks Kye and King Arthur for giving me new ideas! I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve been really bummed with the lack of recipe content since quarantine was lifted.

A thin layer of cake goop has never failed me. You just have to let it cool for about 10 minutes before getting the cake out. 😅
I agree. I use cake goop for the first time last week on a Bundt cake. Came out perfect.
Have you tried it with olive oil instead of butter? Butter (dairy in general, I think) mutes a lot of the bright citrus notes, according to… someone, can’t remember who
Would using King Arthur cake flour lead to a better result or pretty much the same result?
Hi there! Using cake flour will lend this bundt a slightly more tender crumb. All-purpose flour has tested to work excellently here but you can swap all or some of the flour for cake flour, if you prefer. Happy baking 🧡! -🍮Nicole
