My Yogurt Cake series has quite a few recipes and I continue to enjoy making this type of cake. I love both its flavor, its soft and fluffy texture, and how easy it is to make. Lemon seems particularly well suited to pair with yogurt, so for this Lemon Yogurt Cake I have added lemon zest to the cake batter and then to add even more citrus flavor, a lemon glaze is poured over the baked cake.

I made this cake today - it is just amazing! The flavour of the lemon was just gorgeous both inside the cake and the glazed topping.
The vanilla and the lemon flavours go so well together. Plus this was such an easy cake to make once all the ingredients are weighed out. I get everything ready the night before then I can thoroughly enjoy the process. Thank you for sharing this recipe :)

I went out and bought yogurt just so I could make it! It was so moist and delicious. I added frozen raspberries and sliced almonds on top and it was lovely. Definitely add the glaze, it really adds an extra zing of lemon :)

Tried this recipe with the glaze and it was so yummy! It was moist , sweet and tangy at the same time. The glaze added a nice touch to the flavor of the cake! This recipe is a keeper as is Stephanie 😊😉👍🏽

This is one of the easiest and most delicious lemon cakes I've ever made (even without the glaze!) I used more zest (1 lemon + 1 orange) and it was simply fantastic. I cant thank you enough for this recipe ❤
