Ridge Racer games were traditionally, the first ever Sony approved games and launch titles whenever a Playstation console would launch. If you check their codes, you'll notice that.
    PS1: Ridge Racer (SLPS-00001) JP
    PS2: Ridge Racer 5 (SLPS-20001) JP
PSP: Ridge Racer (UCAS-40015) JP - weird numbering here. There are no games below 15 using the UCAS code so it is the first.
    PS3: Ridge Racer 7 (BLJS-10001) JP
PS Vita: Ridge Racer (VLJS-00001) JP

Metal Gear Acid was a good 8/10 for me as it was a great way to play at the time a 3d game and its stealth is very engaging. It was very accessible on the go and converted the action based gameplay to a turn based one yet still allows for using similar tactics you would in the real timed metal gear solid series (including peace walker). The sequel metal gear acid 2 got a 9/10 on ign! it streamlined the previous entry's gameplay which is why it scored a lot better as the story was less good. It even had a multiplayer vs on it and boss arena. With more cards, you could theme your characters after many different mg characters like boss or vamp or even a johnny sasaki.
I played a lot of the psp - it's my most favourite and I even had a good pc that could play far cry and fear at the time. The metal gear games, especially the ac!d series, were my favourite and I got to play online too, just not on peace walker. Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops was my favourite mgs game, it was a great miss of new and old and even had a semi functional fps, way better than golden eye 64 to be honest (with regular n64 controllers). I liked the mulitiplayer like mgs online and socom game. It had a great rpg line, and my favourite was Jeanne D'arc, which was a very nice streamlined mga tactical turn based game. Sometimes series are difficult to transition to the handheld from console like action adventures which wasn't really good on the gameboy until kid dracula (as the castvania series was a bit lackluster on the gb og for a bit). Jeanne D'arc was a very simplified but engaging take on the tactical genre which is a bit more casual friendly but works for handheld. It focuses on even clips for the game and short matches as to allow on the go playing.

For the PSP 2000 3000 and go models they had component and composite video out cables granted with the PSP 3000 and the PSP Go you can use the composite cables but using the component cables hooked up to your capture card is the best way to capture the footage on real Hardware

You can capture footage using their respective component cables, then into an hdmi adapter for modern capture devices. There’s a psp cable that’s recent which goes into hdmi and there’s an old device which I have called the PyleHD42. It has a PSP video connector and hdmi output to 720p. The first two will have letterboxing but the last one has a button to remove that and fill the 16x9 screen. It’s a hard to find device these days but that’s what you can do for capture. The connector is different for the Go model of course.

I got Ridge Racer, Lumines, and the Spider-Man 2 movie with my PSP. Really enjoyed all of them. Darkstalkers was awesome too, found it in a bargain bin at some point. I don't think I bought any new games after the release though, just heavily discounted stuff and a few digital games.

My first PSP came with Gretzky and the Spider Man 2 Movie (not the game, the movie). Also, the reason I bought a PSP was for Twisted Metal Head On. The controls are great. at least for TM veterans.
My second PSP came with Daxter and a Family guy collection.

It's weird that I know this, but the most interesting thing about Twisted Metal: Head-On is that it's a canon sequel to both Twisted Metal 2 AND Twisted Metal: Black. And Twisted Metal: Black was a dream/nightmare.
