The new Merc V6s and V8s are getting stellar reviews from Saltwater owners for their reliability. Yamahas are great motors but Merc has been coming for them.
The new Mercury V8's are much quieter than the Yamaha's V6's and especially that V8 425 Yamaha...doesn't even sound like a V8, it has an annoying sound that would get old fast.
The put msrp pricing. Customers don’t want to have to call to find out pricing. Give a range or ballpark.. seems shady you can’t list a current price* subject to taxes and changes and all the other normal liability crap. Guess I’ll go elsewhere

The Yamaha is MUCH more reliable and fuel efficient motor.
