jschlatt never made the 9/11 jokes he didnt make the klan jokes, nor did he make literally any offensive joke in here. they were playing a game where you take peoples words out of context, and some of the other people in this video chose to take jschlatts words out of context and make it super offensive.
the blackface joke was ALSO NOT HIS. that was his friends swagger souls joke. idk how you guys thought that was jschlatts joke.
the thumbnail was ALSO not jschlatts fault. that was his editor. some CZcamsrs i know dont watch the video after its edited. some even wait to watch it after it's uploaded, so schlatt probably didnt even notice the thumbnail.

@@JamItsOnline Dark humor* and no, the intention of dark humor isn't to just be offensive. CZcamsrs are a big reason why it's perceived that way now due to the rise of edgy humor (which I enjoy), but dark humor is all about laughing at the absurdism of existence. It's about laughing at the faults and flaws in the human condition, and mocking issues we take far too seriously in an existential sense.
I feel I should reiterate, I love edgy jokes as much as the next guy, but this idea that dark humor is offensive for the sake of being offensive, and should be expected to be that way is an insult to genuinely good dark humor

As someone who is black I found this very amusing, I'm not sensitive to this kinda thing and I do believe there is a fine line between blatant racism and simple dark humor. Many have done black face for amusement purposes, and the most popular person I can name of the top of my head is Robert Downey Jr. It won't be funny to everyone but I think that's kinda the idea. The Dream SMP fanbase is incredibly sensitive. Odds are, he's trying to drive them away, I would too. Just my thoughts.
