Did you use the same parts he did for your e70? I have a 2013 m sport N55 and my intake has gotten super brittle and cracked. Was considering doing this. Just checking to see if it worked out for you
Yoooo bro - first of all love the videos! I rock a F15 N55 and really dig the content. Keep em comin! Question for you - you know anywhere in the USA that sells a silicone hose that links the N57 dual intake duct to the N55 air box (Australia is too far away!)?

The link in Australia is the only one who sells the perfect size that will fit it correctly I haven't found any place in the US to sell that size hose with a 30° bend in it. I have ordered two from that same place and a bunch of subscribers have ordered the same one as well. It shouldn't be a problem shipping it here and the shipping is not that much.

Thanks family. I didn't Dyno it since the change, but acceleration feels a lot quicker and smoother and the engine sound is more prominent.
Really interested in this mod for my F15 35i full bolt-ons BM3 stage 2. But I only want to drop the coin if it does indeed increase the sound of the turbo. I doubt it will lead to much hp gain, but please report back once u get it installed. Thanks pimp 🔥 Excited about more 35i content!

I'm stage 2 as of now. Hopefully I get a chance to do stage 2 turbo and methanol injection, but it's getting very expensive between both cars.

Bro - you got the BEST X5 content!! My 2018 X5 x35i, 2018 .. is that a F15? What's the diff with a F30??? I want to try this but I'm scared man .. does this give you extra horsepower or response or something? I hate my gas pedal lag sometimes like when I smash it and it doesn't go instantly.. you ever think the Pedal Commander would work on my X5??? Thanks again man for doing these!
Thanks for supporting the channel! Yes it works tremendously new video this Sunday with driving impressions. F30 is a 3 series BMW F15 is the X5. A pedal Commander will work on a stock BMW, but not a tuned one.

I just ordered the dual intake. The elbow is on back order. What size clamps did you use?
I think 5". I really don't remember I just took the silicone hose to Lowe's and try different sizes on.

Yes you can add this mod to stage 1, 2 or completely stock.

Thanks for supporting the channel fam. I love it actually. The throttle is a bit more responsive and at certain times like going through tunnels are under overpasses you can actually hear it pulling air at wot.

@@chrisncars317 Just make sure you by the right one because one link is for the F15 and the other link is for the E70. The parts are a little different in shape but not by much so it's easy to buy the wrong part

Hi F15 brotha! Great X5 content! The 4 inch hose is sold out everywhere. Would the 3 3/4 inch hose work? Too short?
Actually, my mistake. 4 inch is the diameter of the hose as you said in your video. That one is sold out everywhere. But the 3 3/4 diameter hose is available. Would the diameter be too small?
@@RobertHa81 You can try the 3 3/4" hose, but I don't know if it will work. I will leave this link for a different 4" hose but it's 30° bend it might work as well. Thank you for supporting the channel!

Hello do I need to cut the aeroflow hose length some I got everything but the hose seems too lond and has a huge kink in it install ed can run it like that
Too long and meant can't run it with that kink
Thanks for supporting the channel fam. I'm not sure how the hose arrives now. It's been over 2 years since I did that mod and I no longer have the X5. If you can trim it to fit then I would trim it a little. Just make sure you do it slowly and trim less than you need to start because you could always keep trimming but you can't add any length back.
Ok,true did you have any issues with the bend in the elbow of the hose not lining up to the airbox, just trying to get it right when iam done,thanks again, like always appreciate the response and keep doing more content on bmw for sure.
@@derongumm7052 No I never had a problem with the setup at all. My uncle currently drives the car now. I test every mod for fitment and functionality before I post it on the channel.
Any difference in turbo sound?
Thanks for supporting the channel. If by "turbo sound" you mean induction noise, then yes it definitely makes a louder suction noise than the factory single intake pipe when on the throttle.
