- after one of people commenting asked if i could show how to install i went and made this video in the hopes to help people that have any issues or confusion around installing Nolvus Modpack
YOU ALSO NEED A PREMIUM ACCOUNT FOR THE AUTO INSTALL (you can still do this without premium account but it will be a long and slower progress since you will have to put it together manually)

If you are having the same problem I did, this should help.
Can't find the AMD equivalent for Nvidia control panel? Right click on your desktop, click on 'AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition' (or whichever amd software you have)
go to Gaming tab, click the Games tab, find Skyrim and click on it. Click on tune game performance and there should be these options in tuning control; default, undervolt gpu, overclock gpu, overclock vram and custom manual tuning. Choose custom manual tuning, enable power tuning and turn that bih all the way up for maximum performance on Skyrim. You're welcome

Thanks legend, I’ve been modding for 2 years now. Tried a few lists, minimalist and crazy big like Nolvus. Just tried Eldergleam. Ultimately I’m back to Nolvus, keen for V6 coming this year. Until then, I’ll try my hand at manually adding in some 2024 goodies

THIS Nolvus Version KICKS ASS ... I LOVE IT. It is perfect ... Zuzu once again .. your video inspired me to install Skyrim again and it was the best idea 2024! Much appreciated ... Thanks for the guide, I follow it and work perfectly. Ran into an error with SSE engine fix but i just re-ran the process and it fixed it self. although i would recommend a LOD performce setting if anyone want to run this, I am running a 12th gen i7, 32GB of RAM and RTX 4070ti, 3440x1440 resolution and only getting about 40 fps on Ultra setting for everything.
Use puredarks dlss upscaler, the pay walled one. It just works

Finally a good guide. I am new to modding. Installed nolvus. Run it but nothing happens. Seems I have to be patient cause it fucks up my normal skyrim game if I force quit it. Damn I am so impatient.

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I was having a hard time figuring the stuff out myself but this helped a lot. Though I was wondering if you can still use the Nolvus dashboard stuff and Vortex at the same time when using mods or if it has to be one or the other? Thank you so much again though!!
For anyome whos downloading manually and get high poly head, put in in the cache and dowloads like shown, close the dashboard, reopen and choose the overnight option for download, it should say something like "dont stop downloads meant for over night"

I have a decent PC but only 16bg of ram, so i gave up on this stunning mod list.

I have a question does nolvus work fine running at max frames + 240hz monitor? I am asking because the base skyrim vanilla version glitches and forces me to play on 60fps. Hoping theres a mod within this nolvus package that fixes this!!!

Did you do the Plugins Sorting post installation? The Nolvus website said to do this using the LOOT built into MO2. I did this and it seems to take forever for LOOT to sort the plugins. I've been waiting for nearly an hour so far and LOOT still hasn't completed the sorting. I'm not sure if the game will be negatively affected if you don't do this. Have you had any issues?
Appreciate the information, I downloaded to the portion were " high poly head, bdor " had to be manually installed. When try to download them I get to many people viewed or downloaded this file and to Waite 24 hours. A week later I'm still getting this message

Because no one has and it's a tricky setup and alot of people mess it up.
I actually did all this to the T and once I got to the game menu it said I was running 2 alternate start mods and I got like 5 different error messages. Then It wouldn't let me open the game again so I could try to see what the errors were

did you try add "lootable objects" mod? i checked full modpage lists and next wheeler ... that stucked in my mind first as "missing" from list but the list is great.. my first thing will try this
when i click play my mod organizer 2 doesn't show my mods or the nolvus skyrim launcher any help please, and no i do now have mod organizer installed previously to nolvus

Can somebody help me? I installed it and played it, but my pc was a little laggie so deleted all files en reinstalled skyrim and did this again so i can try performance instead of ultra, but now if i want to download the modpack again there is an error; hash for game file 😖

Hello!! Solid presentation as always!! I know this is not exactly the place to ask this following inquiry. Living in Australia and trying to connect to pull the initial threads of all 2065 mods is literaly at a standstill at 389 total thus far. I have premium Nexus, a fibre to the home connection, LAN to the computer and a 10k PC that more than meets the marks. Wouldn't it be better for me to manually download these directly from Nexus instead of the auto installer?
If you are not bothered by how long ur takes then yes, but i would still recommend auto
One question tho: Don't I need to downgrade the game version before all this? Or does the dashboard downgrade it automatically? Thanks!
Great question, the dashboard will do it automatically, and im pretty sure you can change to newer older versions through the installer but not too sure. lets put it this way. i havent changed anything about the base game before i installed the modpack.

I'm currently going through the Nolvus setup process and the Dashboard doesn't recognize my GPU. The GPU detected is the basic one (Iris XE Graphics) and not my RTX 3060. (08:30). How do I change that ?
(I've already set Skyrim to be executed with the RTX 3060 in the grapchic settings of my PC)
When I go into the NVIDIA Control Panel and the Program Settings, Skyrim isn't an option there when selecting a program.
I have a problem where I'm just infinite loading on the main menu screen like where the snow is falling
I have problems with the resolution. No matter what resolution I set, it only shows me a small part of the screen. It looks like I zoomed in. I've reinstalled several times and connected another screen or television but the problem remains.

yes, the only 2 mods i had an issue with were the 2 mentioned in the video but i was able to solve that quite easily. did not come across anything or any issues i should say with DynDOLOD. just a big boy file 😂😁

This window wont open where i have to select the skyrim special edition installation directory after i installed it.
everything smoothly installed, (a final BDOR bump but managed to manualy download and install it). now having an "SKSE/Trampoline.h(187): Failed to handle allocation request" error after clicking "Run" and it won't start, any way to solve this issue?
I'm just getting a forever black screen with sounds playing in the background when i hit new game.

Okay so when I did my first installation it only downloaded 2017 mods and showed 2050 were active on mo2, that was with auto install, I think it was cause the errors and I closed out cause it was bugging, how do I get those mods back??, when I do a reinstall, it still only says downloaded 2017 mods

When you paste the High Holy Head folder into the Cache/Downloads folder, are you putting the contents of the folder in or the master folder itself once you extract it?
you put the entire folder in there. dont extract it
Followed the tutorial but at the end waited hrs and nothing happens. I can run it through steam as vanilla but idk why nolvus isnt working
I'm pretty new to modding and I'm already confused by the instructions on the nolvus website. It says to make sure you have the creation club content, and I have the basic stuff that comes with AE, but they include a screenshot and it looks like there's a huge list, do i need to download more creation club stuff to make it work? The only way i can see maybe making that work is signing up for an account on bethesda's website, which sounds like a pain and I'm not even sure if it's necessary. Do I need a bunch of extra creation club content or is the basic stuff ok?
if you have loaded up the game and received the prompt that asks you to install the AE content and you have downloaded those then that is all you need. so if you downloaded the AE content initially when booted up the game you are sorted.

hey brother! great tutorial, everything's been great so far except the downloading of the 2 extras, high poly head and BDOR nova pack. The high poly one was fine however when i went to the BDOR nova pack to find a download button i couldn't find one, there was a massive list of armour mods and some said edit in green at the end... do i have to go in there and individually download these armour mods? or should there just be a download all button lol? thanks man :)
You should go and find Bdor nova pack in the list on the website, then download the file and copy/cut it into the downloads folder within your nolvus folder. Then close the nolvus dashboard/installer en re-open it and click on start again and it should take the mod from the download folder and install it into the list. Hopefully i was clear enough and help you if not try to look on their troubleshooting page if they have a better explanation for your issue.
You just gotta keep on trying. Eventually it redirected me to the download page instead of that empty one with the description.

Haha my only issue now is i chose an alternative start, and now i wanna trigger the actual quest i cant do it...
Someone mentioned as soon as i kill my first dragon it auto triggers the dragonborn quest, but I've walked around the entire map about 15 times and so far havent seen one dragon lol! By the time i find one my guys gunna be jacked 😅

Hi can you do a tutorial on how to install the ultimata Skyrim mod on top of Nolvus ?
I’m doing the auto install currently but when I reach the Performance Options page I don’t have the option to choose my LODs level for some reason. It’s greyed out and stuck on Ultra. Going to try to run Nolvus with 16gb ram and 6gb vram so I don’t think Ultra’s gonna work for me. Any idea why I can’t change it?
Oh wait, I fixed it haha. In case anyone else runs into this issue, I selected the Ultra variant (I was on redux) and then I could change the LODs. Lowered the LODs and then switched the variant back to Redux.

Hello, does anyone know how to remove the 3 flashes of color that there are when you use the bow because I find that it breaks the immersion and I can't remove them on my skyrim. Thanking you

I start it and it tells me I dont have The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Upgrade, and i do... I installed all.. Lame
so for adding new mods i was a bit confused there, do i have to drag and drop it on the nolvus MO2 dashboard under the correct area correct area or would it go in the same folder as high poly head and BDOR?
ehh, i might do a little tutorial on it but essentially, you setup MO2 (from nolvus) to be your mod manager on vortex and you can click on mod manager download and it will put it in your MO2 downloads and then you can right click it and install it. you can also drag and drop like you just said and put it in the right area but then if its a mod with FOMOD for example it wont show the Fomod and it wont install correctly, armor mod on the other hand have no issue being drag and dropped, hopefully i helped you.

For me when I pasted it to my cache still didn’t find it. It still had the high poly and BDOR error. Also I get a pink or purple map glitch when I play it. Any help?
the purple map glitch is simple to fix, go to your MO2, then plugins and make sure all of the FWMF (drawn map mod) are on top (highest priority) and that should fix it. or just drag whatever plugins are above FWMF plugins to below them. i assume you managed to fix the high poly bdor error?

Yes, it comes with controller compatibility in a bunch of the mods you do need to look for some of the configurations on the official mod page since I haven't used a controller in quite a while. I however doubt your existing safe will work since there will be a lot of world altering content injected into the game but I guess you can try but I wouldn't put my money on it.
Usually when adding mods that have lots of scripts (quests mostly), it's best to start a new save. This modpack adds hundreds of mods, you 100% have to start a new save. Usually, even when these modpacks get an update, the authors advices to start a new game.

I get what you are saying haha, and for the CC mods you need to have the anniversary edition content installed. Wich you will get a prompt when you first load the game version up vanilla. Not sure if I answered your question but I hope I did.

when you say it is buggy on hard-drive what do you mean, and i have around 230GB on my SSD i know it says 350-400 but is 230 still fine?
Unfortunafely not, you would have to manually download all the mods that you want and leave out the bigger once to save a bunch of space. And harddrive will just not work tbh buggy was a understatement.

Had the same problem. What I had to do was reinstall the launcher and rather than auto detect where Skyrim was on my PC I had to manually choose where it was. Hope this fixes it for you too if you haven’t gotten it to work yet
Is this modpack like it’s own standalone thing? Can I download it without overwriting my other mods that I already have installed?
yes i do believe it is a standalone thing and creates a new instance.
I have a problem and maybe someone had the same one as me. when i rund the mods ist start but the only thing i see is a littel bit of the scream and i cant do anything about this. I even deleted everithing and instalted ist again but same problem. Does anyone know how i can fix this?
Yes, if it is basically in the wrong resolution and you see like 20% of your screen. You will want to download "bethIni" and then configurate the game resolution to whatever your monitor is. Sorry if this is a bit unclear but you can also look up a bethINI tutorial if this does not help.

I assume you mean HDD, i would not download it on a HDD. It also says on the site that it will give you a lot of problems. I'd recommend looking through the list and downlaoding wte seems essential to you

haha i like that, ehm you have bits of original and modded music. but don't worry you can just delete the added in music after you have done the download. so you can download it and just get rid of the music. it wont break the Game.

I have an NVIDIA geforece RTX 3060 Ti. I do not know computers very well, my friend built mine for me and didn't really tell me too much, but is that better or worse than a 1080? Can I run Nolvus on it?
i think you can but the first version, the redux version one
a 3060 TI can for sure run Nolvus, i wouldnt push it too far tho (dont pick the highest version) you might be fine with running the version above Redux aswell.
well i dont want to buy the AE dlc if this modlist doesnt work fine just by clicking on download (i have all requirments because of a new pc lol) does anyone have experience with it? Is this modlist worth spending 10Euros on the Anniversary Edition DLC? I had lots of problems with modlists on vortex, does it work fine here?
Interestingly I didn't bought AE, just bought SE still it gives me that pop up.
default ENB is pitch black at night even with a full moon. Unplayable and I don't see anything in the MCM to change this.
after i downloaded all the mods do I need to run bodyslide and nemesis in the mo2 shortcuts?
