In today's video we compare the Becue Engage Vs. Prime M Carbon Fiber shafts. For those who don't know, BeCue was founded in 2016 in Italy. Becue prides themselves in the high amount of research and development they put into their cues. The result is a highly refined carbon fiber shafts and cues. One highlight I found with Becue's carbon fiber shafts is the sound and hit. I can tell Becue spent a lot of time tuning the exact tone and hit they were after.

I hav been waiting for this
I have a 12.5mm Prime M and the 12.9mm Revo. The Prime M hits a lot softer than the Revo. Deflection is similar in my experience but the Prime M flexes a lot more.
I have two Becue Prime M Shaft's I love them, one with Kamui soft and super soft both play super smooth..
I might have to try the Becue shafts with a kamui
Im eyeing out the Becue naked break cue, and possibly the jump cue too.
I'll be reviewing those soon, waiting on the package. Keep an eye out for the review :)
Which shaft were you shooting around with for the demo at the end? I am guessing the engage by the cue ball movement.
I used a mix of both. Both shaft gives good action on cue ball.
Hello @TheBilliardCorner. Which one do you recommend I buy and why? Between.... ignite 12.2, becue 11.8 engage and becue 12.00 mm prime. (I never used carbon fiber shaft).
And which one is the best for you of these three that I mentioned?
I hope can you help me.
Excellent content.
It really depends on what you like. I personally really like the Prime M shaft. Each shaft has it's own qualities. Take a look at my Ignite video as well to help you decide.
I already saw it. And the truth is very well explained. Which one is better for you❓️
I got a prime m with a kamui black soft tip and mine sounds nothing like this. I may return it tor the engage
So comparing mezz ignite vs the becue engage, what you think are the main differences?? Since you played with both.
The taper of the Ignite and Engage is different. Ignite has a crispier hit.
2 questions...
•Who do you think makes the best quality (stiff) CF shaft?
•How would you compare said shaft, to one of those 'extra cooked' kielwood shafts?
Mezz is probably the stiffest CF shaft I've tested. The kielwood shafts offer more feel and feedback while the CF have more energy transfer. Kielwood is a good middle ground between traditional wood and CF shafts.
Glad to see you really like the Becue CF shafts. The Becue shafts are my favorite. Looks like you were getting some incredibly nice spin transfer on your shoot-around. You are also spot on about the elasticty of the Prime M and stiffness of the Engage. If I had to chose one over the other, I would take the Engage in a 12.3. Their Core tip really impressed me as well. I hit some racks with one of their CF playing cues and they're nice but I didn't like the diameter of the butt, a little too skinny for my liking. I also broke a few racks with the 1st gen Dark Matter cue and I was really impressed with it. My main jump cue is the 1st gen Becue right now too. It's all CF and super light so it takes a bit to get used to, the end ahndle is abit different too. Glad to see you had the chance to try them out.
Always wanted to try the 1st gen dark matter. Sadly they don't offer it anymore. The grip of it looked interesting.
Lol ok kid
so witch one did u like more? and for witch type of player would u recommend PrimeM or Engage?
Prime M for more balance and control, Engage for more power and accuracy (low deflection)
What would be your top choice for a cue? Hsunami 2.0 ?
Depends what you're after in a shaft. Hsunami for feel and balance, Ignite for stiff hit and power, Becue for refined hit and balance, Jacoby for most comfortable long pro taper
Wow 🤩
oh wow!
Thanks for the video. Have you ever reviewed a triple 60/whyte shaft?
Not yet, thanks for watching
@@TheBilliardCorner gotcha. Thanks. I really appreciate your product reviews 👍🏼
BeCue Engage 11.8 vs Revo 11.8 have been a awesome compersion, i belive the the engage will win (-:
Which one is more desirable? Hits better and less “tink” sound
How is the slickness comparison on both the prime M and th Engage? I have the 1st generation of the prime M and gets sticky over time.
Slickness feels good. You are suppose to clean the shafts with alcohol and a micro fiber towel to keep it slick. Becue also has a cleaning kit that helps with it as well. It works great. I have a review of the cleaning kit on my channel.
Awesome. Thanks
How is the deflection on the becue 12.3 engage vs a 12.4 revo?
"As you can see, they're all very low deflection "😂
@@masonryman8183 lmao 😂 damn
Have you tried the cuetec cynergy? I'm considering it and a becue. What are your thoughts?
@@ryanwilliamson7657 cynergy had more deflection and less feel than the Becue Prime M. I personally would go with the Becue Prime M or Lambros carbon.
@@TheBilliardCorner I'm going with a Becue I think. Why do you like the Prime M over the Engage? Just curious
@@ryanwilliamson7657 Prime M had more feel and better sound. Also less stiff so more forgiving and balanced.
Is the primeM darker in color then the Engage?
Correct, Prime M has a “wood grain” look and appears darker than the Engage.
Love the shaft reviews! Problem is you make me want to buy them all…so curious about your real opinions 😂
Everything in all my videos are my real opinions. Every cue and shaft plays different so I try to highlight the most important differences between the products. Thanks for watching!
Do you prefer the Becue shafts or the Cuetec Cynergy?
Becue
what shaft was in the "Demo" clip?
Both shafts were used for the Demo clips.
@@TheBilliardCorner oh okay nice and which one did u liked more?
@@extrahassig3438 I personally like the Prime M more as it suits my playing style
@@TheBilliardCorner interesting thanks to your video maybe the engaged 12.3 is the perfect shaft for me becaus sometimes i think 11.8 is to thin and 12.5 is to thicc
How about the Jf SMO?
Haven’t tried it yet
can you review the mezz expro please
Maybe down the road, I've test hit it before and it hit really good
Me gustaría que hicieras un vídeo de la cynergy cuetec carbón... Gracias
Hopefully I can test it down the road
Which do you prefer, ignite or engage
Prime M > Ignite > engage is my personal preference
@@TheBilliardCornerso engage the best of these three?
Have you tried the Whyte carbon shaft?
Not yet
@@TheBilliardCorner i hope you do sometime in the future. Your reviews are awesome
@@jonathanliu5047 thank you so much, I’ll try to get one in for review
@@TheBilliardCorner sorry😂 follow up question. How would you compare this to the Jacoby Black shaft?
@@jonathanliu5047 whoops didn't see this follow up comment. Jacoby black has a more comfortable long taper. Becue has a more refined hit and lower deflection.
Becue or Revo?
Becue
Jacoby or BC?
BC
Hey can you do a review of the Schmelke ricochet shaft. I like Schmelke cues. Best bang for the buck cues to me. And I want to see how they did on carbon fiber shaft. @thebilliardcorner
I didn't even know Schmelke made a carbon fiber shaft. Maybe I'll give it a go down the road.
