AURORA wrote this song with Couros Sheibani, Fiona Bevan, and Jakwob during Bergen Songs in April. They set up 11 more days to work together in May / June to write more songs. This song possibly discusses the pain of living in the world and suggests that this pain can be alleviated with the love of someone else who can make a hard and unforgiving world into a "soft" and lovely one. but this depends on the person who listens to the song, as AURORA stated that the songs of this EP can have different meanings to everyone depending on how deep you dive into them.

You are 100% spot on with your comments. This is probably the most radio friendly song in this concert. The build up and chorus are quite catchy. And still this performance was captivating and quite mystical as well.
You are in for it with the next two songs. Back to back emotional charged and breathtaking!

This is the only song from her second album that she plays during this concert, she said herself that she wanted to take into consideration performing, as all of her songs from her 1st album are mellow and somber.

I'm glad I rediscovered your channel!
I remember binging a bunch of your Aurora reactions like 6 months ago.
So many reactors are way too....idk, hyper? And pause CONSTANTLY, ruining the flow of the experience. But I like your vibe. You seem genuinely smart and kind and chill. And I love your cat's cameos. It's like he knows he's on camera when he pulls at your curtains lol...
I also love how _emotionally_ invested you get in music....especially Aurora's, as that's kinda her whole deal.
It's sometimes subtle....but underneath that stoic veneer, you can _see_ whenever a certain note or chord or lyric just melted your heart. I'm enjoying my emotionally vicarious parasocial relationship with you this fine evening! ;P
The modern world is weird isn't it? That a sentence like that even makes sense lol...

I couldn't find any video of you reacting to her one and only live performance of Soulless Creatures.
You should do it! I really think you'd love it. :)
It's one of my favorite Aurora songs ever....and in 2020, she performed like 6 of her songs with the Bergen Orchestra, one of those being Soulless Creatures. It's epic.....and musically fascinating. I think it's in 6/8 time, and harmonically quite interesting. Both subtle and grand.
Hope you check it out! :D
