Easy Steps I did make one mistake. I bought my hood ornament from the dealer. Same part number much cheaper on eBay. I thought I would get the authentic part at the dealer but it’s exactly the same.

Broke the emblem off of my 07 c230 , I've been wanting to replace it for about 2 years now but never looked it up and always wondered how I would go about doing it, I now see just how fuckin easy it is to do and it blows my mind!! I am now so excited to replace my emblem now that I see how easy , cheap and simple it is to do!!
i’ve always hated the hood emblem that sticks out of the 2003 c240 but i might have to do this because it is one of my favorite car styles everything besides the emblem that sticks out so i’m def doing this

97 S500 hood emblem was stole and it was the flat one. But for my hood their was no hole left only two small holes from where the emblem set in. Still not sure how they took it off the car was just setting in the yard.

I think that Mercedes Benz emblem is the best I don't even know why they would even take that away I understand because they have the emblem on the hood but to follow the big emblem sticking out of the hood is the best just look at it feels good LOL I don't know probably just me

This method doesn't work for the 2002 MB ML500 and may some others also. Why? because underneath the badge is the hood locking mechanism.

Unfortunately this is not possible on w209 2004 -2009 CLK as the bonnet is double layer :(
there are sevveral models that have flat emblems secured by two pins, so the above video is not applicable

Got my kid an 07 and it snapped it off at one of the fancy auto washes. Dragged it all the way across the top of the car. Luckily it didn't scratch it.

it depends on the model, some come with the emblem attached with glue or in a similar way to those of bmw, if this is the case then it will not be possible

No, it WON"T work on ALL Mercedes. My 2006 SL500 does not have the hole cut in the hood. Just 2 tiny holes for the flat emblem to stick into.
That flat emblem is hideous when you know it’s replacing the classic emblem, lol.
Mine broke so I wanna get a new one lol
Mercedes never have the stand up hood emblem and grille emblem.. if you want factory classic look you have to change grille to one with no emblem

Sir , you are wrong . Can't interchange the flat emblem to the stand up emblem on any mercedes. It can't be done on the 1995 SL320 or the 1996 SL320 . I have both cars and it can't be done , without modifications to the hood .

It can be done, probably depending on the year and model of your Mercedes. I replaced the flat emblem with a standing emblem on my year 2017 Mercedes C350E.
you have to make sure you have the exact emblem for your car model and it will work..
