    The pleasure of driving a mercedes is seeing the 3 pointed star proudly standing on my bonnet..! Thats why the new S class are back with that classic 3 pointed star standing on the bonnet! The classy and premium feeling. To change the way u did is making it nomal like other ordinary cars..non classic mercedes feeling anymore!

      I suppose it depends on if you replace the grill afterwards with a large Mercedes star, as 2 badges look odd and tacky

    Just what I needed to know. Someone relieved me of my star.

      Some duct tape will help you stick that badge on any car of your choosing

    I don’t understand why one would replace the Star.
    Do it on the SUV’s not the sedan’s. The sedan’s are the original, not the SUV’s.

      Personally I hate the look of it, reminds me of old American land yachts (cadillac, caprice, impala...).

    I do like the star but do feel its had its day, up to the W211 seems to work but from W212 onward's prefer the badge but still like the full grill

      @@ZakiGarage Nah bro they look Cool. Think about it that old classic badge has been since 1910s.. They should keep this old badge.. Iknow i dont want to buy Mercedes without that old badge. The new ones look lame.. A BMW copycat if you ask me.

    • @ZakiGarage
      @ZakiGarage  Před 3 lety

      @@Justice-qw7sj I can understand your point of view, I guess I have different teste since I was never a fan of Mercedes to start with, I do love my BMW E46 and VW Golf more than the E class when they work 😬

      @Gemini530 Před 3 lety +4

      I agree. I also prefer the classic hood emblem over the flat badge
