    How did you connect the speaker wire to the door speakers? I’m having trouble connecting the speaker wire to the positive/negative sides. Idk how to put them on, do they go on the same part the red clips do?

    • @kier4134
      @kier4134 Před rokem +2

      You can either splice the connector before the red clips and add a new set for the tweeters for quick disconnect i guess

    • @Sncedayone
      @Sncedayone Před rokem +3

      Take a double a.a battery and connect the red to positive and black to negative and if the speaker pushes outward then that's the correct way to wire them. If the speaker sucks inward the reverse the wires

  • @automech01
    @automech01 Před 2 lety +13

    First you could have tapped into the wires before going into the door without having to remove the speaker. You should use a large piece of heat shrink to cover the capacitor. And the tweeters are mounted way to far from the woofer.

      @@stickxxcummings sounds like a clean setup. I thought about doing some similar to what you have but I haven’t. I seen these “slim” subwoofers. The one I saw was a Kicker 10 inch sub with a built in amp. It was like $200 at Walmart. It comes with everything you need box, woofer and amp all in one. But it will take space in the tiny little cabin in this S10 so I don’t know if I’ll do it.
