- TULSA MASSACRE SURVIVORS APPEAR BEFORE CONGRESS: The last known survivors of the Tulsa Race Massacre are appearing before members of the House Judiciary Committee roughly 100 years later to discuss the lasting effects of the act of racial violence that killed somewhere between 39 to 300 Black Americans in Oklahoma. They are joined by other human rights activists who are testifying before the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties to consider reparations or other legal remedies for survivors or families of survivors.

Message to White Conservatives: It's kind of hard for poor Black Americans to "pick themselves up by their bootstraps" when your actions (be it a century ago, a few decades ago, or even today) like burning down their churches and businesses keep them from achieving economic equality/stability.

@Ku Klux Klan You can't expect someone to create or obtain the tools necessary for survival if he doesn't have the resources around them to do so. If you were born poor, there's a high chance you'll stay poor.
There were kids who didn't have access to a computer during the midst of the pandemic. Are you really going to tell them that the lack of access to or inability to get access to a computer or internet is an excuse for them not being able to get through that year of school?
