Owens and Styles had more momentum than Jinder and they were at the top of their game and yet WWE chose Jinder Mahal. It's like JD defeating Cody Rhodes for the title after taking so many Ls from mid card players and being the fall guy for the Judgement Day. It wouldn't make sense.
