Have been researching American overland campers for several months now and this one gets checks in all the boxes for me. Just one thing I would like to see added is a pressurized water connection (city water) for people like me who camp half the time at state parks/campgrounds where a city water connection is available. Yes, once at the campground I could use their city water to fill the tank, but, would be nice to hook up the water and not worry about filling up the tank or having to use the pump every time you use water. Add a city water inlet flange, water hose with an inline check valve connected to a Y or T connection to the water line (after pump). Add another inline check valve between pump and the Y or T connection and done. Would not be expensive to do and could easily be done during the assembly process before everything is enclosed. Except for this, it is the absolute perfect camper, but, even without it, its not a deal breaker.
Wow I like what I see. I need to stop by and check out your campers at the next overland expo. A lot of boxes checked that I like. Composite walls Trailing arm coil suspension Articulation hitch Square fenders Racks for ebikes/dirt bikes Heater for cold nights Armored exoskeleton Hot water shower!!!!! American campers are taking on the Aussies.
Countertop at armpit height. Hmmm.......that'll be handy if you happen to be a pro basketball player. And if you are standing at the cooker, you can't have the fridge open. Do you people not try these things out before you put them on the market?
Kitchen and counter on these works great even for shorter people. Fridge placement works out just fine. Better than several other designs we looked at.
What size/model is that case on the side? Assume it's a Pelican. Is the pump also in the case or in the galley? Can't tell from the angle. Also wondering about pump noise. Thanks!
What's the total height with the roof rack and awning (assuming awning comes with)? Want to make sure it would fit in my garage. Also, will the roof rack provided work as-is for a RTT or do I need to add additional roof rack bars? I have an ikamper skycamp 2.0.
I was hoping for less ground clearance for more head room, and a longer cabin so that my feet don't hit the shelves. Majority of users will not be carrying a dirt bike in front. It is a lost space that reduces breakover angle and/or angle of attack. The galley of Pando 2.0 has more prep space and the cook stove is at the same level as the sink. Much nicer design. The suspension is overdone, IMO. Why on earth would you put a better suspension on your trailer than on your tow vehicle. You are not going to ride in the trailer! The pricing is also an issue. In short two years price hike from 28k to 34k! Overall It is a very nice trailer though.
Hey Joe Bloe, thanks for checking us out. We are firm believers that everyone has a different version of their 'perfect adventure mobile' and it sounds like we aren't it for you. We keep the ground clearance and ditch the headroom because we want to spend more time on the trail, less time in the cabin, and be able to fit it in the garage when we get home. We have found the majority of users are carrying either a dirtbike, bike rack or cooler (hunters) on the front. We have not had an issue with the amount of prep space and carry a small collapsing table with us if we do (ie camping with a big group). This keeps the galley smaller (see garage point above), and we respectfully disagree with you on the design opinion. At Boreas Campers we want to push the limits and offer the absolute best, and we're excited to offer Cruisemaster suspension. If you upgraded the Pando to match the standard specs of the Boreas they would be about the same price, there is a cost for quality construction and components. Again, thanks for checking us out even if we aren't for you. Appreciate the feedback.
A Pando priced out with these options is around 39k before having it shipped to the states. If you're talking about angle of attack and such, you aren't wheeling in a stock suspension tow vehicle. Trailers usually have suspension to keep everything inside from being thrown around. A Pando also has Timbren 3500 suspension. The sink in the Pando is about 5 inches higher than the stove. They are not on the same level. The sink also takes up part of the counter space, so this one has more prep/counter space than a Pando. The Pando has a 19 gallon water tank and can have more at an additional cost. Lastly, you want less ground clearance on an off road trailer? Is there a reason you're looking at off road trailers then?

I would like to see the XT12 I believe that is what it's called.
Nice product
Which is the cost, can we get it in canada ?

It's similar to the Pelican 1600 size. Pump is in the galley. It's not loud, but you hear it if it's quiet.
Weight & cost please???
Nice, but change out that white switch to black…my ocd got triggered..lol
Can i rent one?
Everything looks fine, But...if you are taller than 5’0your feet will touch the bottom of the cabinet inside while sleeping...
It is actually 6'8" head to toe in the cabin. Plenty of room!
How much head room is there? Want to know if I can sit up really straight inside
Hey Leah, there is just over 3.5 feet of head room in the cabin. Most people say it is much more room in person than they expected!
Will the Rack n ride MX carrier fit in the front receiver hitch?
Yes it will. However, the tray will not fit on the area meant for the moto mount (a la MXT).
I was told they already sold out of 2021 and are taking deposit for 2022? Is that accurate?
I've been told the same. Also that the AT is discontinued. No reason for it when the XT sells like hot cakes.
Yes we are sold out of the 2021 build slots but do not plan on making any significant changes to the 2022 model.
@@jasonb2934 Yes the AT is being discontinued, it was not as popular as the XT and will help streamline our manufacturing process.

Hello Marko, the unit is 79" with the included awning. We recommend adding 2 additional crossbars to get the rack capacity up to 650lb.
How much does it weigh?
The 2021 XT has a dry weight of 2200 lbs
👍
It's too small for the upcoming apocalypse.
