I literally believe I have seen every type of "off grid" trailers that are out there. Many of them are well engineered and well thought out. This model of yours has become my new favorite by far! Everything you need and want and nothing you don't need. Well done, sir. Very well done...
While the Boreas XT has remained on my short list versus the dozen other teardrop type models I've researched, I kept wanting something more in a compact off road/off grid 4-season camper trailer, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what the "more" was that I wanted. I don't know why I ignored the EOS-12 all this time, but I finally sat down and watched your full walk-through of it and the light bulb in my head clicked on... I think this is the "more" I've been looking for! I'd sure like to stop out and see your Colorado operation this September; maybe even get an up-close look at how these bad boys are built, too!
We appreciate the kind words about the XT and EOS12! Please do stop by in September! Email Adam at adam@boreascampers.com to schedule an appointment when you have your travel plans figured out! Let us know if any questions come up in the meantime as well! Thanks again!
Close to my dream camper. I would change/add: 1) hardside popup like tribe camper 2) walled bathroom like mission overland approach 3) ogo composting toilet 4) 2nd level bunk lowers down via straps like in the living vehicle. 5) Ditch the tilted window. Hmmm...yup, thats my dream.
Thanks for checking it out Leslie. This blog has an image of the awning open (scroll down to the kitchen section): boreascampers.com/blog/eos-12-perfect-grid-camper-trailer/. We will make sure to show the lights in an upcoming video!
Yes, all the exterior doors and the toolbox are slam latches. We haven't had any issues with water intrusion from any of them. Your gear will be nice and dry no matter where you decide to store it!
3,750lbs dry. 400lb tongue weight. 20 ft long. Too many other specs to list, follow the link in the description for the full spec list. And yes pretty much everything can be run off grid for longer than 24 hours depending on sun, solar, and battery setup. The only exception would be the optional AC unit, which can run 3-6 hours on the standard battery setup and 6-12 hours with the upgraded battery option without a recharge.
Is that a Ford F'ing Ranger towing it? All jokes aside, I have a Gladiator Rubicon and want a camper such as this that can tow safely when loaded up. Are the awnings brand specific or can it be outfitted with something else? I would like the option of having freestanding capability. I did not see a city water connection. Do you have to always replenish the 50 gallon tank if at a campground with hookups? What about skin color? Just as shown or are there options? Lastly, do these campers stay in stock or is there a waiting list? Thank you in advance.
Hi, and thank you for the questions! You would have no problem towing the EOS12 with a Gladiator! We use 23Zero for our awnings, but you could add almost any awning you would like! There is no city water connection, so you would need to refill the 50 gallon fresh water tank. They come with the grey and black graphics, but we can do custom wraps as well. There is a waiting list at this time! Please email adam@boreascampers.com or call me at 720-515-3775 to discuss further! Thank you!
It's camping. We prefer to cook outside even in the winter. Awning and awning walls can keep the kitchen quite comfortable and you keep the smells out of the trailer. Can always use an A/C water pot to heat up some water in the morning or for a camping meal if you really don't want to go outside, but then you have to ask yourself why you are camping in the first place. Just get a giant RV if you want to hang out inside all the time.
The point is that for some people, top of the line components and a build quality that can last a lifetime are worth paying for. There are plenty of trailers with cheaper components and lesser build quality that you can buy, but it’s nice that there is an option for those who don’t want to compromise on anything and understand that quality like this costs.

Thank you! That was the plan. We really appreciate those kind words.
Mine too!
Not only an awesome trailer, but an awesome company as well.
Thank you Nick!

Love it! I would like to see the storage under each seat. There are no pictures or video of that anywhere.
Thanks Ryan! We will make sure to address that in an upcoming video. Make sure to follow us on Instagram or facebook @boreascampers.
The camper is nice. I can't take my eyes off the mullet.
Nice for minimalist camping. Nice set up.

Sweet😊
Just saw the prices of your campers wow that's a lot of money no way I'll be going with the hicker thank you .
I think these are the camper's that have the Optional full basement
When are you going to produce a viable 4 season camper?
Are the latches slam latches. How well is outside storage sealed off. Asking because I love this unit.

what is the weight and what is the base cost
What are the specs, need to know if I can pull this. Can I run everything off grid for 24 hours?

@@BoreasCampers Awesome, thanks for the prompt response. That goes a long way.
If you have bad weather how do you cook for your family

How much
$79,990. Comes fully loaded. boreascampers.com/eos12/
80k? Rather buy 20 acres.
trailer is way awesome but dude.....80K ur missing the point

You can only cook outside? That's not particularly a good idea
Cooking inside is for RV'ers. Cooking outside is for camping. This is a camper. Enjoy the outdoors.
