- I put a 70 Chevelle front clip on a 71 Chevelle, pushed the car out of the shop. Doing a walk around to get my before pictures before I start the tear down and restoration process.

I agree.. two head lights .. two taillight is killer.... probably causing a purist to have an aneurysm, but really enjoy the build so far
Thanks Todd, Yeah in my opinion it definitely makes more sense I really like enjoy the look of it too. And as a bonus I recently found a 72 Chevelle that's missing the front clip. I can use the front clip from this 71 Chevelle to build that 72 Chevelle and save it too .

Thanks for watching much appreciated 👍🏻 as soon as I get to the building the Chevelle and get it in the new shop, I'll have videos up on wiring for the 70 front clip and anything else I can see that would help people doing the same swap

Thanks, yeah they are sweet I used to see a badass 72 Chevelle with a 454 Blower sticking out of the hood in Edmonton when I was taking my old 79 Trans am out to the shows there.

Im looking forward to the day I've got this Chevelle in paint going with house of Kolor Tangelo Pearl Orange or Blue Firemst are the two colors I'm considering right now and possibly Kandy Brandy wine

I'll be doing a few paint jobs over the winter here. which should allow me to put some money aside so I'm able to get the parts needed for my bigger projects like the Chevelle. When I do, I'll have some updated videos of the Chevelle on the channel 👍🏻
Did you have to change out the radiator support ? To fit that front clip ?
Yes the rad support needs to be changed as well it has the opening for the two headlights
Been thinking about doing my 71 the same way.
I love the look of it, it looks so good. I can't wait to see it painted now. Plus with this extra 71 Chevelle front clip I have now. I know where theres a 72 Chevelle that I can pick up that's missing the front clip. I'll already have it to put that other one back together now too.
How's everything going on the Chevelle build?
Its going good, I've already got the Chevelle completely taken apart ready for sandblasting. Just have to put together the clips and post the video removing all the panels and glass from the car.

@@westganighttrain5166 right on that's awesome. I came across a 72 Chevelle not long ago that's missing the front clip might pick that up too. I've already got a spare 71 clip for it so I can build that one too. What's your plans for your 71? Any ideas on paint/ interior? Thanks for subscribing to the Channel 👍
