@BNM0826 yeah haa I was at the wrecking yard picking up a bunch of body panels for the 91 firebird. I also picked up a door and a fender for this 83 Camaro at the Pick-n-Pull recently too. I've got about seven or eight videos worth of film done just have to sit down and edit it lol.

@@fullyloadedkustoms Oh, cool. Those camaros are hard to find down here. I'm more into the Pontiacs cause I had an 88 Trans Am. Good luck and looking forward to new vids.

I've also got a pair of 58 Biscaynea that also have the full solid bumpers too

I definitely would like to build a K.I.T.T car out of the 88 Firebird haha after looking at the parts prices I'm gonna have to save up for a bit to get that haha

@Rixster1217 yeah it sat in a northern Rural wrecking yard. I'm 3 hours from a major city. The area I'm located in has maybe 40,000 ppl in a 100 Mile radius. If that. Google cold lake alberta Population, in the 12 years I've been here I haven't seen more then 1 other 3rd gen firebird driving around lol. Supply and demand. If there's no demand basically nothing is getting taken. Now put the car in a city like Edmonton with population 1.5 million car definitely would have been gone through.

Oh nice that's awesome how many 3rd gens do you have? My 1st 3rd gen was an 83 Camaro I picked up In high school.

@@fullyloadedkustoms My first Camaro was a 1982 with a 4 cylinder 🙄😆 Ran really good but before you could get out on the highway you had to make sure that nobody was coming as far as you could see down the road 😆 if you seen somebody then you better wait until they go past you before pulling out on the highway. That was the slowest vehicle I have driven well my 29 modelAA was slower but not much 😆👍

I picked up this blue 91 Firebird for $1000 and the black 1988 Firebird for $500 and that's in Canadian dollars. Yeah it's crazy to think how these cars end up there but I guess whoever had this last wasn't looking to pay the cost of the transmission swap. Me and my dad recently just swapped the Transmission on the 91 Firebird too new 700R4 is now installed

Right I couldn't believe it too. The only thing that saved this car from getting stripped right down was that fact that Ai live so far north in a rural low population area. Haha good thing no one else has a 3rd gen lol. Yes haha I think I shut it off in the 1988 Firebird will it run video I did a few months later haha. If I ever ave to change one that's definitely the route I'm gonna take too

@inspectadrift8478 yeah you can't beat those 70-73 styles and for me they are rare I think I've ever only seen one white 71 Trans Am out at the car shows. A few spilt bumper camaros but definitely not many I think that's why I really like them. I've got 3 3rd gens at the shop right now I'll be working on. And also just purchased the 1st car I ever painted which was my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am too

@inspectadrift8478 I believe this would have been an original 318 car with auto transmission, it was a lower Trim level challenger.

@@fullyloadedkustoms I really like that it is white. I wonder if it was originally a white car? Not many of those made and a way cooler color then my doodoo brown 70. Looks like it needs a bit of everything to get it back on the road. Still a 70 Challenger though so worth the effort very cool find in my opinion!

@@fullyloadedkustoms that is cool that you are going to buy and rescue it, good luck man! I love these cars and have had my 70 383 Challenger for over 20 years now (still looks about the same) and the longest I've ever owned any car.

Yeah for resell purposes the orginal paint colors and decals would always be more desirable. That's why I like getting those cars like the black Firebird that are on the low end of options etc so making that custom will be fun. I do plan on making a replica of my 83 camaro I had back in High school that had rhe classic flames on it. And custom hood scoops. For that car I'll get a lower end camaro to customize. The 91 Firebird I actually just out in a new 700R4 there yesterday me and Dad installed a new one.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm going to stay with that Color combination Red/Silver I also will add the lower decals that should be on the car too. Me and my dad were recently out at the pick and pull and picked up a door and a fender for the camaro too. Now I have all the parts I needed to repaint this car and get it ready for the road again

@geraldsmith9540 haha I know right, can't have to many 3rd gens lol the majority of those cars can definitely be brought back to life. The blue ones an Iroc it's got the B4Z code on it. I definitely want to pick that one up to rebuild price I was quoted at the other day was roughly $600 Canadian

You're not doing anything wrong. The problem is with Copper Slag, the media is to big and clogs up that .05 tip (I believe that's the biggest size available for this) what you have to do is remove all the copper slag out of the unit. And go with a 30/60 crushed glass media available at Princess Auto. That's the only media I have used on this blaster that I have not come across any issues, and it works great and will not clog up the hose. The 20/30 crushed glass will give the same issue as copper slag the media is too big.

Once you change over to 30/60 crushed glass, you should be good to go. If you also ask for the last sales price from Princess Auto, you should be able to get that for like $12 a bag for 50lbs of media, I think it was just on sale I bought 4 bags of media here to sand blast thr 80 Scottsdale truck frame

I kinda figured out from watching your video (and a couple others) that my problem was my tip size was too small so I drilled out the tip (3.5mm) that came with the blaster to a 5-6mm and it seemed to work a lot better with the copper slag. I did ask for a sale price when I was at princess auto last night and it was just a kid working and he said that he couldn’t give me any deals on the blaster or the media, I’ll ask again when I’m there tomorrow, I live in rural eastern N.B and the closest princess auto to me is about 2 hours away so I don’t make a lot of trips there (only if I need to). I’m sand blasting the frame of my truck so will the media that you mentioned (30/60 crushed glass) work well on a really bad rusted frame? Thanks again for the help.

I actually just came across a 86 Iroc yesterday I'm 100% considering picking that car up to build it's in pretty good shape. And at $600 Canadian I don't think you can go wrong there. This 86 I found I would love to paint it a metallic Blue color
