Miniature Showcase

- Most of the time that I've sold off parts of my army it was for either a financial thing or selling old models for new ones. There isn't much left here, and will be the last time I do one of these XD. Before I do though, it's nice to document them so that I can show what I've had.
I'll do a fantasy showcase in the future along with my other collections. I'll maybe wait till I get a better camera to show off the smaller details of certain specimens I have ;) - Krátké a kreslené filmy
The technique used to paint the models is wet blending, even the Leviathan. No airbrush stuff as I've not learned to switch over. I like the challenge though XD
Not all things are for sale. If you're interested in some, you can find here: www.ebay.ca/sch/1714059/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
Quick question for the legion honour guard how many units are in it or is it just the one.
@@aaronlillis7932 Hey bud, just the one. Wanted to do all 5 but the cost was too high for the parts needed.
@@marklouisspark thanks for responding man. Last question are the 15 space marine models true scale or regular.
@@aaronlillis7932 the 5 @ the end of this video are truescale, so are the first 6 (aside from Rubio). The 5 truescale assault marines have just been sold.
@@marklouisspark I know cause I bought them lol. I couldnt pass up the opportunity. I love your content and the models are amazing man.
"TrueScale"...Glorious TRUE SCALE!!!
@@Warbeaver Kitbashed and green stuff. I think you can find some Truescale models if you search for stl files on the web to print.
@@Warbeaver They're largely based off the plague marine plastics
Why aren't all models truescale?
These look fantastic! Some of the best looking Ultramarines I have ever seen to be honest. The ones GW shows off have always look way too bright for my taste.
Thanks man! The brightness of them didnt bother me, even in the 90s. But as I grew older, having their blue darker does make them look more serious XD
Why in the name of the God Emperor can’t GW with all of their resources make models that look as good as these? I’d love to see everything you’ve made. Your work is beautiful, you are a true loyalist.
Your true comment should be: “Why in the name of the God Emperor can’t GW with all of their resources make models and animations that are as detailed and fantastic as these?”
2:06 Only the bravest and most heroic Ultramarine is allowed to bear the name "Harold", bestowed by the great Robert Gorillaman himself. Similar to the Imperial Fists' Emperor's Champion, the Ultramarine's Harold bears the 13th's ceremonial Sword to battle. Should Harold fall, Carl will take his place and become the new Harold.
Hmm that nickname doesn't work good sir.
I didn’t realize Nazeem was interested in Warhammer… perhaps I’ve treated you too harshly
Damn, never wanted to paint 30k Marines so much before...
The marines look awesome, especially the added bulk an height.
Man, you even make Rowboats 40k armor looking awesome. Very nice legionaires too.
Fantastic job on those Ultramarines! I especially liked how you used the tips from a couple of plague spewers to replace the vent “nacelles” on that one model’s power pack. (That’s what they looked like to me, anyway). I convert almost every one of my 30K Raven Guard, as well - I love seeing so much conversion work on someone else’s Legion, especially when so well done. Gives me ideas!- thanks for sharing these with us.
Thanks! Since they are made from different squad boxes just to create 5 guys, you sometimes need to find ways to make it work haha. Not all legs/powerpacks/torsos from death guard are usable so it's a tight bash. Good to see others still heavily bashing it :D
@@marklouisspark Yeah- it’s a lot of work, but I know you’re no stranger to that! And the end product is so worth the effort- I’m always so happy when a kitbash or conversion comes out really good, and it makes me feel justified about being a pack rat and not throwing away any bits that I didn’t think I had a use for. I always seem to find a purpose for them, even if it’s just a hand or half a bolter or whatever. Keep up the awesome work!
I really liked Death Of Hope... I don't want to piss you with that but you should continue, you are incredible in your animations
Ahhh love to see some of the XIIIth legion. They look great.
1:14 Terra Nova... these models look utterly detailed and amazing! So good!
2:39 That Leviathan Dreadnought... it's gorgeous Mark! I hope you're making you're money's worth off these amazing models!
3:10 I'm not a fan of the old Roboute Guilliman but you make him look, well, stunning to be honest.
3:39 I like your changes to the 40K Guilliman... posing his arms differently, that's honestly something I imagine to be a rather difficult thing to do, I certainly never tried it myself.
Thanks for showing this off Mark, makes me very sad these are being sold off at all. (Also, thanks for putting my Model Showcases to shame, haha! (If anything, I have a standard of quality you've thoroughly represented here to aspire to, I just need to figure out how you made these videos.))
Hope to catch you on your next Stream (or I'll be there for your next video.) See you then Mark.
God damn, not only a master with digital 40k, but kickass models too!! The weathering/damage is stunning, really makes the models pop. Exactly how I envisage Marines in conflict
I was talented in many forms of mediums before I touched even photoshop ;P Thanks bud!
Absolutely amazing dude, as someone getting into the hobby and just starting to paint, yours are a tier above and beyond anything I have ever seen, good job
Appreciate it man :) you'll find others leagues ahead of me as you look around more and more :D exciting stuff when new to the hobby.
Nice painting man!
That Roboute 40k is possibly the most beautiful warhammer miniature I've seen. Way better than official, crazy amount of detail, pose is terrific --- almost perfection. Since I'm tweo years late, I don't suppose you still have him - so, just wanted to say "Wow, great job!"
I feel a bit sad you spend so much time crafting and painting these awesome miniatures and let them go :(. I hope the buyers give these models with respect and take care of them!
It was fun, and although I poured a lot of love into them, they no longer fit into my life. And yes I do hope whomever these go to, take care of them well :)
Man, I really want that Dreadnought. He can be friends with my Iron Hands Venerable
These look amazing.
I'm not typically an Ultramarine fan, but these and Death of Hope are making a difference in how I picture them.
I'm sorry to hear that you have to sell off these beauties, I hope that they find a good home.
Cool! I like all the truescale models. Plus, surprisingly to me, the 40k Roboute is quite nice after he is spared all the unnecessary nonsense.
Looking at those classic metal models I'd wish FW made models in Saturnine terminator armour. Currently I am working on First Legion force and those would be great for Ironwing siege terminators.
GLORIOUS THE MINIATURE!!!!!! I LOVE TRUE SCALE!!!!!! COOOL
Now THIS is how Ultramarines should like !! I hate this "toy" blue GW paint all their UM with and serve us with all the time. Your scheme color is BADASS !! Thank you so much for your contribution to the community, whether it is via painting or 3D animation. You deserve a statue !
These are some of the best marines, that i've probably ever seen.
New fans like me are introduced to a setting where ultramarines are op ultrasmurfs. Then Mark's works and some actually competent writters revive them as grimdark scifi Romans again.
Can't imagine how much time and money it costed to bring up to triedscale forge world models
Fantastic models. Your passion for 40K is commendable.
My God Emperor those true scale make the regular one seem so cartoonish. Yours are freaking badass
Did you sculpt those to be truescale? Not only is the paintjob itself insanely impressive, if you did that as well you're one of the best hobbyists I've seen
Sculpting, a little here and there in the models. The MK2 assault marines legs I carved out MK III deathguard legs to be MK II as far as sculpting goes. These kitbash jobs are my own if that's what you mean :)
All of your stuff is truly outstanding. That's the best ultramarine paint job think I have seen. You even made 40k Guilliman look fantastic. It's amazing what a change of pose can do for a model!
Throne, man! That is some true grim dark style.
Soooooooo, basically decimation is it?....getting Perturabo feels...
Love your work, only wish we could.........never mind... its your passion and yours to share if you wish. Thank you always, you single handed got me into 30k. By far the best setting. Grimdark!!
That 40k Guilliman is gorgeous. Just picked up a leviathan dread and trying to work out how to paint it haha
Primaris will never hold a candle to the OG marines.
But they do cast a very big shadow :P
Really fantastic work, Sir. Grimdark and epic miniatures you made.
I don't know how you managed it, but you made me like the Smur-......... Ultramarines,
but just for the duration of the video. nice work.
I think if people saw them the way I do they would like them. When they began expanding their story when writing the HH books I had newfound respect for them as a legion.
@@marklouisspark thats fair. Honestly I'm glad that they werent made posterboys for HH like they are in 40k, it seems it helped some of the better writters maintain exclusivity.
I Like those minis very very very much! I wish I'll be able to do a project like that some day
Hey man. Just wanted to thank you for all the great content you have shared with us on CZcams. Would also like to thank you for helping me getting my shit together and realize that if someone as talented as you can have bad times in their lives and bounce back, then I'm gonna give it a shoot. Depression and selfloathing is something I don't need to feel because everyone feels bad sometimes. You where part of that process for me. I know this is totally of topic and you probably get tons of msg like this, but know that you helped me make my life great again. Despite being quite happy about my life I am still rather poor, else I would donate a reasonable amount to you or a charity of your choice. Sadly, all I can give is my sincere thanks and respect. Oh, and happy New Year from Norway. Best wishes to you and yours.
These are some of the most handsome and epic models I’ve ever seen, absolutely incredible
They're amazing, not a fan of the XIIIth personally, but this is some of the finest work I've ever seen.
Man these are some incredible works;especially the honour guard model, that is what a real elite marine should look like
Hello Man.
I hope everything is fine in your life. That you keep a healthy mind and thoughts.
The videos you create are a bit specific, but for most of us who watch them, they are exactly what we need.
Please keep a healthy mind and focus mostly on yourself.
Martin Svačina
That leviathan was gorgeous!!!
I know I'm a day late and a dollar short but that Leviathan looks amazing. At the time I watched this I just got my own Leviathan and I'm still working on it.
grimdark yet beautiful... great job
I don't like the Blue Men Group but I love your miniatures.
Excellent sculpting with the Green Stuff, really smooth and impeccable detailing.
Awesome 30k feel. Thank you for sharing
really love the true scale effect. very impressive models
Guilliman looks super amazing 🤩
Truly I say, The Emperor would proudly have commissioned you to do works in the Imperial Palace.
Great work and nicely displayed!
Damn these models are so well detailed! I hope they make £££'s
Some of the best work I've seen
When will death of hope part 2 be out? Such great work!
yooo, those are awesome! hope they find a good owner soon ^^
God i love the look of these models so mucch!!
Extremely hot, very nice work overall and beautiful detailing, definitely gives glory to the image meant for the Marines
Hello! I finally started to convert truescale mk3 marines. Thank you very much that you unhide video when i asked you. I can show miniatures when I finish it. I wanted to do it around 2 years and I finally satisfied. Thank you one more time!!!!!
Muy buenas miniaturas.Saludos desde Argentina .Feliz Año Nuevo y por favor no abandones tu proyecto de la herejia de horus.Eres el mejor.
Very nice really like that Rubio
The paint job is so good.
Hey man I'm just checking to see if you are ok and if you are still alive! I miss you sculpting live streams and I hope everything is going good for you man!
Wow, amazing models!! I find it funny that every time I look at the Guilliman 40K model I like it a little less... I dont know why though.
I don't like it either, but got it only to have alongside the HH version. The trim line work and shape is far removed from what design templates are like from the HH line. For some reason GW is now obsessed with with swirly lines, even on chaos marines -_-
Awesome looking models
They look great. How did you upscale the mk3 marines btw was it just cleaned up deathguard bodies?
Yup! Glue on torsos, let set, then cut torsos off, add height to waist, etc :)
Strategic value: ABSOLUTE.
Gorgeous.
Man, these almost make me want to collect an Ultramarines force!
Beautiful army
I hope it's just a matter of time, but I really want the heresy plastics updated to this scale
They look good. Now if they where yellow! That would be something else
God, this is how official space marines should be
Those Guilliman models are outfuckingstanding
Men that’s crazy perfect work
Where are they being sold? That one with the Bolter looks glorious and I'd love to re home him!
The tactical truescale will remain with me as im not ready to let those ones go yet. The one you speak of, are you referring to the shoulder mounted heavy bolter?
@@marklouisspark I liked bothe the tactical and and the heavy bolter one! But I understand on the tactical it's a true wonder.
@@marklouisspark But in short I would buy the heavy bolter of it's available!
@@mattgilbert1497 The heavy bolter marine is part of the 5 squad and would be sold together. Their sale will appear later on as things start selling.
@@marklouisspark Excellent on Ebay I presume?
Ho ho hoooly shit! Damn fine work.
So sick! How did you do Guilliman? I’m new to the hobby and I’ve held off on buying him because I don’t like how he’s positioned! If I could make it closer to yours, I would go out and buy him this second!
dude I would keep the leviathan its so badass. though I'm biased towards any dreadnought
I was going to post it, and I reached my monthly ebay max to sell so it gave me time to think about it. I will be holding on to him a bit longer lol.
@@marklouisspark Honestly man, I get that you don't like 30/40k anymore and that's perfectly cool. But even though I don't like pokemon anymore, I still keep my favorite games and cards, you know? Hopefully the leviathan fits this category for you. Anyways looking forward to your next project.
@@eragonfreedman9228 I totally agree, which is why I've not sold off all of the item :) kept about 6 to myself, the army though needed to go. Takes up space. The 6 I have will be put away somewhere while the shelf they once occupied can now give room to my other hobby instead of a constant reminder of how much negative energy I spent the last few years towards "parts" of the fandom and GW direction, and how something I loved for 22 years went down the shitter (to me). You left Pokemon on a good note I assume, and not consumed by purist behavior, so it's easier to keep things with good experiences. If you wanted the real answer, there it is XD. I'm happier without them, and DoH is my transition out.
My other hobby will last until the day I'm put into the ground. It's not governed by IP and commercial business practices (though the market is something to be cautious of) and the community that is also interested take it seriously, no cartoon crap, memes, etc.
Thanks for the concern though. I've got things I've kept since I was 8 years old XD
@@marklouisspark glad to hear it man. Take care bud.
Those mark ii marines are beautiful. Been looking for a way to make truescale mkii and they're the best I've seen, sadly outside of my capabilities tho.
nice stuff! I wish the stock stuff was like this
It looks cool brother
I love this
Very nice!
Man I wish I could get my hands on those
Now I like ultramarines...
... and I play Word Bearers lol.
impressiv work
Have you ever considered using your 3d modeling skills to 3d print your own models?
I've been there and done that :) in fact I have plans on getting back to it after im done with all this.
My own fantasy designs:
facebook.com/photo?fbid=10157214742620158&set=a.10156487078260158
My warcraft character:

As far as printing GW ideas like space marines into 3D, I don't do that shite. People can do it that's fine, just not something I believe in.
@@marklouisspark That's fair enough, nice models by the way!
@@ArcaneKnave Thnx :)
Thank you ,
Mark, could you pleeeease explain, how exactly U make those beautiful truescale models ?? - since those do not look like primaris at all (which is the usual base for the truescale, as much I know)
awwsooomeeeee!
If you are willing to sell them can you drop a link to the page you are selling them on. Some of us here may be interested in purchasing them.
Ill drop it here for ya. www.ebay.ca/sch/1714059/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= Though pricing on some can be daunting, some of them fair when you compare to what's out there.
Very nice
would you make a guide on how to create this sorta truescale quality? cuz fuck i think these are some of the best ive ever seen
Marvellous
Dude you are a god
Is there anything you’re not good at? Fantastic models. I can see a lot of your DOH characters here I think
amazing
so cool
👏🏻
So impressive! These look priceless how much did you sell for??
