I don't understand the ignorance of some comments. Definitely people who never tried an electric vehicle and never tried to repair a modern internal combustion vehicle. No bullshit on electric vehicles like egr valves, dpf filter, Adblue, wet timing belt, snowflakes turbos, stuck/broken spark plugs or glow plugs, and all costs cutting crap from "premium" brands etc, etc etc... I'm in the trade since 1999 and yes ev's were crap back then but this is so different now. So guys, stop watching videos and go in the real world to make your opinion and to stop making a shame of your self with government conspiracy theories.
You haven't worked on electric vehicles either it sounds. Im a mechanic and the complexity of circuits, resistors, staters and chip electrical pathways are significantly far more complex to fix than simple egr , dpfe , injector coding and so on . Electric vehicles are not like for a ton of reasons and no one is ignorant because they dont want an electric vehicle. I personally think they're junk and will ne a nightmare to maintain overtime.

You're a mechanic so you should be able, with the good training, equipment and software, to work on resistors, chips, coding etc. Those things are more and more present in internal combustion engine vehicles since decades. I'm still dealing with those things on a daily basis, electric vehicle or not. Electric vehicles are more reliable because they don't have all the mechanical complexity of a internal combustion engine. Electric vehicles are less complex to work on (maybe not teslas ok, they are the Apple of vehicle repair...). I have more and more customer calling me for electric vehicles because Mechanics like you refuse them, most of time for an issue which does not require specific training but common Mechanic sense.

Great Work Andre!, For a minute I thought you are not going to clear the door and make it into the seat😜. But you Finally did👍. I was actually waiting for the TFL review of this truck! and you did not disappoint!. One thing tho. I hope FORD have some Patents/anti infringement statements in place for this Truck. The Front Grill/hood vents/vented head lights area looks really great and I can see other Automakers duplicating them on their future products!!!

13:06 - lemme help Andre, those are technically called SWAN DOORS and it's what's historically been used on low-slung Aston Martins (think Vantage, DB12, etc). the idea is to raise the end of the door just enough to clear curbs.

The only tech I want to see is tech to lower the price. I should be able to get a SCrew F-150 4x4 Lariat with the 5.0 for no more than 45K.
You can’t do that with dollar loosing value, higher pay from work is the only solution I see.

@@ranig2848 its main design was based on the dimensions of an F-150 Lightning. Just as NASCAR has a Mustang, Camaro, and Supra those are not the cars we buy from the manufacturer

All internet truck drivers tow a house trailer 800 miles per day, get with the program.
The entire drive train is built by a 3rd party that has NOTHING to do with Ford except the amount of $$$ that Ford marketing threw at it. None of the tech will EVER make it to Ford products.
250 Mile towing range with 7,000lbs trailer that can be charged in 25 minutes. That is a realistic EV truck.

So much marketing bullshit. There's NOTHING F-150 about it. Nothing. There's no F-150 structure, frame or anything. The drivetrain was built by a 3rd party. It's not a truck either. The only thing F-150 about it is the sticker and even that doesn't come from an F-150.
So disappointing that Ford has to resort to utter nonsense to promote its products.
Nothing from this truck will EVER come to the F-150 truck because it has nothing to do with it.

@@mcsike7264 JUST in 2023 Ford F-150s had faulty fuel injectors that were starting fires. In 2017 the Ford F-150 had a faulty cruise control module that was starting fires when the truck was turned off.
Ford uses the cheapest electrical components on the market. This is why they catch fire.
