Called the best songwriter on the planet by Elton John, Rufus Wainwright has recorded 11 albums, including the acclaimed “Poses” and “Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall,“ as well as numerous tracks on compilations and film soundtracks. He also wrote the music for theater director Robert Wilson’s Shakespeare’s Sonnets. “Dream Requiem” will be Wainwright’s third major entry into the classical music world, following his two operas, Prima Donna and Hadrian. He is a member of the Arts Arena’s Advisory Council.

Looking forward to hearing it. Glad to see you're not devastated about 'Opening Night', it can always be reworked. You have so many wonderful works to be proud of. I think you should write a musical, maybe another one. They don't always have to be hits.
