- Hello and welcome to Lord Fenton Gaming plays Neverwinter Nights 2. I am your host Lord Fenton. In this Don't Panic series video, I will talking about Neverwinter Nights 2. This new player guide will include how character creation works, skills, races, brief touch up on classes, party system, dialog, combat and even the crafting system. Note: I am going to put this in text form for everyone to see. If you have 3 items that equips to 20 Str for example (2,8 and 10). What happens is it will only take the highest number of str instead of the total number of 20 if you equip the said item. For instance 10 will be the highest str item so equip other pieces of gear if you get one up there.

They are really good and improved from Neverwinter Nights 1 original version. Thanks Moggle Gaming and once you know the basics and get into the game for a bit, it's a blast. Pretty good official campaigns too.

THANK YOU! I have played NWN 2 before, but always felt kinda lost when it came to character creation, especially multiclassing. I am going to watch your video to get some better ideas on what to do. This game is brilliant and not as appreciated these days as it should be. Both Neverwinter Nights games were such fun games. I have subscribed.

It's a great classic. I hope someday it gets a nice remastering to work better on modern machines.
Started a new game with a Tiefling Swashbuckler in NWN2 instead of NWN1 'cuz these videos reminded me how much I liked the additional classes and races here that you don't get in the first game. Had to get the client extension so characters walked normally but otherwise the game runs very well despite its age. Hope you do a playthrough of this game soon!
Great to hear this. I had to use the same Client Extension too. As for a walkthrough I will be doing it after all the Neverwinter Nights official Bioware and Beamdog stuff than start all the four official NWN 2 ones in place of the NWN 1 walkthrough content. Even started doing NWN 2 builds too.

This has been helpful for me. I find it funny. I chose the best healer in the game. My goddess is Selune. I get simple weapons proficiency. I had a hard time not saying. I heal you and hit your enemies with a big stick.

This looks fun! I've never tried nwn 2, are arcane casters still Devastating? Timestop was only cherry on the top for casters, do we still have the ability to snuff lives like candles? That was fun
(truth be told im seeing a pattern i personally love with games like dos2 and nwn, casters ease through the game with minimal issues) last question, is this on ps4?
To a degree I heard they are. There is still Wail of the Banshee and Finger of Death. Beamdog was about to plan an NWN 2 EE but Obsidian who was the devs most likely said no. It sucked because I would of loved to seen how this game would of gotten the PS4/PS5, Xbox One X/Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch treatment myself.
This seems to be a pretty good guide for NWN2, but I was looking for a reminder on how to change the order of party members. If I remember correctly, doing that in NWN involved click-hold-drag of the character's portrait (up or down). NWN2 seems to not have that function. Thus far, my internet search has not turned up an answer to my question.
Thank you. The only thing I can advice is where you swap your party you want to do is just pick the order of them. For example your a fighter than pick a rogue, cleric and finally wizard last to add to your party. Sucks NWN 2 doesn't have what BG 1 and BG 2 had.
@@LordFentonGaming Even if you pick them in the order you want (sometimes you don't have a choice), they will get swapped around while entering and leaving areas. The only thing that seems to remain constant is that YOU are always on top.
@@khalaq2 That is the only problem is you the leader. I wish there was other ways to re-order the party.
I love this game and repurchased it on GOG. Problem is that as soon as the game starts and I try to change my resolution to 2k the screen just goes black or the game crashes. I can’t seem to fix it.
I cannot link the page where I did fix my issues but I can tell you what it is. It fix not only graphics and FPS issues but also slowing down too. It is the Neverwinter Nights 2 Client Extension from the Neverwinter vault. Google that and than install that to fix many issues.
