Thank you sir, one of my favorite N scale youtuber 🌼🚂
Yes please. There isn’t much on Locprogrammer so a tutorial would be good
Great job on the install and programming... As I always say, just like you, if you are going to have multiple ESU decoders, then definitely invest in the Lokprogrammer.
Yes, and the LokProgrammer makes it so easy I wish I had invested in one years ago.
Yes, please do a more thorough video on Lokprogramer and Lok installs. Love your videos. Many thanks!
I have 2 Atlas locos with the Digitrax decoders. Took me hours to get them to speed match. I also have 2 BLI locos with the Paragon3 decoders and they run perfectly together. I have 3 more locos to put decoders in and you may have convinced me to try those ESU Lok Sound decoders.
Thanks for the video Ron. In my personal experience over the years I used to think that TCS had the best motor control. As I have purchased and installed the ESU units...Hands down ESU. I do have a ESU programmer and recently purchased their CabControl system. I know you are an MRC operator. See if one of the suppliers can send you one for a demo. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Thanks Ron. I started with Digitrax decoders myself until TCS came along. They definitely offer the ease of programming. Now that ESU has more to offer to N scale, I do quite a bit sound installations in my Locomotives . Not to mention the custom lighting. They are a vast improvement over any other decoder I believe.
Thanks Ron! That's easy! Amazing!
Another vote for a LokProgrammer tutorial, especially for uploading sounds.
Nice video Ron. Yes to more detailed videos on the LokProgrammer. the instructions that come with it I find quite vague. Some demonstarations would be very helpful
makes me hope that Atlas makes a Copper Basin RR version of the GP39
My old Atlas GP-38-40’s run crappy even with NCE decoders. Want to get a new 39 With LokSound. Don’t have sound in Switchers. Just Road Engines.
Having to Consist a GP-38 High Hood, GP-40 and an MT SW1200 together because they all run rough. None are broken in much, so that helps push or pull the laggards along.
HELLO RON ITS IS RANDY AND COOL VIDEO THANKS RON RANDY #1 FAN'S
Would love to see some "keep alives" added to these locos in a future episode.
Nice job Ron.
Mike
Hi Mike. Thanks.Good to hear from you. Hope y'all are staying well through all that has been 2020.
@@RonsTrainsNThings We are well and we are all going to be lucky we made it through this year.
THANK YOU FOR DETAIL VIDEO
Yes I am interested in the video of the programmer. I have ordered one and will have it soon for my ESU decoders. I also use JMRI to program.
Yes please to tutorials on the Lokprogrammer.
yea i agree i would like to see a tutorial on programming esu decoders,
Ive always been hesitant on buy ESU because they dont play well with current keepers when you have to program them. But I do like the wide range of programability.
Hi Ron, definitely interested. I have a Kato F7 A & B unit that is DCC ready. I'm still trying to figure out witch way to go 😕. Take any recommendations and I also want to put sound in the B unit. It has a little bit more room. Thank you so much for your help with everything, Chris
Thank you Ron for the video and your channel. what is your programing track computer interface again? I was going to get Lokprogrammer for the lok decoders but for the others I think I need a different interface . I would be curious to know which one you use with jmri thank you
I use a Digitrax PR3. The new version is a PR4.
Hello Ron. I am needing to know what exact model esu lok sound program are you using. I will maybe try and purchase one and some decoders after Christmas. ..thanks
Is there a good conversation for the old chassis? I’m just getting into the hobby but if I switch my layout from dc to doc I’d like to keep my dads old (from when they were made in Japan) RS-3 running
Nice video! I noticed that once you had the locos paired in the yard they were moving a cut of high capacity tank cars. I've been trying to find tank cars like these in N scale, and it's been harder than I thought. I was wondering if you could tell me who makes them or where they came from? Thanks!
I just got a GP39-2 with LokSound.
Want to get another DC without. Where did you find a LokPilot V4?
Good day Ron.. I have a question about my kato SD70MAC's... I am haveing troubles getting them to run in consist.. the are both SD70MAC'S with the same decoders.. one still goes fast then the other.. I'm still new to this any help would be awesome.. cheers from Alberta Canada
Hello ron being from OZ I am not sure what you mean by rule 17. Is it a rule from the Class A railroads
Hi Ron
I have a problem. I want to run trains with more then one engines. Like you did with with bnsf engine. But I don't know which dcc system is the best. Maybe you can help me out.
Any DCC system can do that. NCE seems to be most popular at the moment, but I would say NCE, Digitrax, or MRC Prodigy Advance2, any of those are good.
Interested in installing sound decoders? See how I did in this video: czcams.com/video/-tu3eKb31BU/video.html
I have a question about DCC I have a problem as I have a MRC Prodigy Express 2 and Bachman Nscale track I can connect the base unit to the cab with everything connected to my program track the problem I have is there’s no reaction from my engines do I need heavier gage wire to connect or will the stock connection work thank you for any help you can give
You showed nothing about motor control and speed
