But at the same time lets not go overboard praising Fatima's maturity. Yes she was more mature than Allison in that particular situation but Fatima had conflict with several of the girls that she started. There were quite a few times she said rude or mean things but most of the time she tried to play it off by acting like she didn't realize what she said would be taken like that (yeah right) so Fatima still had a lot of growing up to do herself

Sahal E. M. Patel Had stopped watching by then so I have no frame of reference. Again, it’s done-the producers aren’t about to call back the participants who were treated inequitably for a do-over. This is a highly subjective industry where what you say and how you act are just as important as doing the work, and yes, maybe the judges were just moody that day, but designers can be just as fickle.
@Annie Burke ~ I guess I'm just clueless because I never associated Alison's comment with having anything to do with Fatima's genital mutilation. Yes it was most definitely disgusting and degrading but I think maybe you are giving it deeper meaning then it actually had. Allison doesn't strike as deep enough to associate the two things. She was more just the run of the mill asshole who thought she was clever making up the degrading rhyme.

She kinda was. I don't think she expected to get cast, and she did very well in photo shoots much to her own surprise, but her walk was very clumsy. Ultimately, it was her speaking that got her eliminated during that cycle's trip to Italy; she had to speak in Italian which was hard enough, but she did it with no emotion or expression and practically put everyone to sleep.
