I can help You! A simple trick is to plug your nose and close your mouth to hold your breath. Then hold your breath until you REALLY need to take a breath. This causes your brain to panic and unplug your nose. Hope this helps

I had balloon and it still hurt and was nasty for several days. Blood and phlegm for days. Anxiety. Missed 3 days of work. Felt sick. It was just awful.

What the Dr does not mention is that traditional endoscopic sinuplasty is more of a permanent solution, whereas with the balloon technique the infection might reappear

I had a dentist take out a molar and they perferated my sinus, but did not place a plug, and so now I have a hole going through my gum into my sinus with air passing through still at day 7. Is there any chance this is going to heal on its own? He even did a bone graft, but failed to close the sinus perforation first, and when I did a follow-up visit with him he did not seem concerned at all. It is driving me nuts because I can barely eat.

I did mine last week and I’m in pain still ... suppose he had little trouble during frontal and he said he kept hitting a dead end and now I’m experiencing constant pain ... and today he did another ct scan and look all normal .... I woulder if the ct scan doesn’t show any swelling that might be causing my pain. Still ... don’t know what to do ?

Lol "no packs required" yet I'm sitting here with packaging for a week now in agony. Its literally different for EVERYONE. If your septum is looking like a right triangle like mine then you'll need extensive work done & prolonged packaging to stop the bleeding. Also the doctor, & how they prepare you for recovery makes the difference as well. My doctor was useless. Didn't even bother staying after surgery to wait for me to wake up to say how it went or what I should be doing for the next week to keep myself from being completely miserable.

Then what he came running, lol.
Doctor's used to be Gods and nowadays they are just doing business.

No, I had mine because I broke my nose years ago and since I have a deviated septum, this caused all the junk to not get out of my sinuses, which caused a lot of sinus infections.
Having this done just opened up my inner sinuses and cleared the old junk out of my inner sinus cavity.

I'll tell you what caused my inflamed sinuses and nasal passages. Doing construction for 4 years, I was a carpenter. All the cutting of wood, drywall, metals, concrete, fiberglass and other chemicals I was around daily, all messed up my sinuses and nasal passages. I remember breathing fine and never having any nasal/sinus pressure before doing construction. I remember while doing construction, blowing out snot rockets and my mucus be grey or black from all the saw dust and drywall and other shet I constantly breathed in. I didnt think anything of it at the time. Until my 4th year. I realized I was becoming congested all the time. And had sinus pain a lot. I quit construction. Now 4 years after. My sinuses/nasal passages are fuccked because of it. Surgies dont help, unless you're getting invasive procedures done instead of minimally invasive

I should also add that the surgery isn't that bad. Some people actually decide to have this done in a doctor's office with some to little to no sedation.

This video; czcams.com/video/GkjDoPJZADA/video.html explains why chronic sinus disease sometimes called empty nose syndrome, caused by sinus surgery including is largely unrecognized by the for-profit industry, and why they actively suppress it's existence, despite so many victims who suffer from this malady caused by the for-profit Otolaryngology ENT Industry. As they are bone, they will grow after 2/5 years , so nothing will be beneficial, unless they put a some kind of anti bone growing filling or use ring (like in heart surgery) on that surgery area so that bones could not grow up .
