    Story NO. 2...
never leave your intoxicated friend unsupervised

    • @MegaKat
      @MegaKat Před rokem +24

Just want to second this. My sister was drunk over here at my house, and she is a VERY obnoxious drunk. I love her, but it's true, and she has a drinking problem that she won't admit even to herself. It's incredibly frustrating, but she's my sister and I love her.
In late September, she was *wasted* and had gone sad drunk, was bawling everywhere. But we're a 21:00 household, period. Especially on a school night. So I started getting mad because she's claiming to try to find her shoes, but I kept catching her stealing more of my booze like she thought she was slick or something. Finally, she left the kitchen, so I hid the booze in my tool closet, behind the chainsaw.
Anyways, now she wants to sleep over and she trying to snuggle with me and my husband and I told her "NO" very firmly; my husband sleeps naked and he's incredibly modest. So finally get her home after more bullshit and my sister begging me 19 million times for another drink.
I wake up the next morn and my eldest texts me what's up with his cousins? None of them were in the bus. So I call my sister over and over with no answer. No answer to texts, either. So I get my blind cane and my shades and make my way through the woods to her house. Her (now) ex informs me that my 8 year old niece found her mother in a pool of blood. She'd slit her wrists, she even done it the right way and needed 24 staples. Ultimately she was ok, but they IVC'd her for nearly two weeks, and I tell you what, having 7 kids instead of just 3 is a master level lesson in patience lol
So yeah, don't leave your drunk friends/family alone, y'all.

    • @davidpahlka6301
      @davidpahlka6301 Před 6 měsíci +1

Why did you do a project on the Heaven's Gate cult?
False religions, false cults and false faiths upset me for some reason. Two
good friends, both Christian, one Protestant, the other Catholic, tried to convert
me but the Mother of my children is Jewish, presenting a big problem.
At the time, I was later to find out in a week, Marshall Applewhite filmed his
death video. I wrote eight pages frantically on why I could not convert by
faith alone. Stepping out on my front porch and looking to the sky, there was
a figure of a 'Q' in the clouds. It seemed like a hundred thoughts went through
my mind, then came a spiritual calmness with the idea, "It is O.K. to question
as long as you respect all faiths."
I searched the Old and New Testaments then searched my dictionary for
the perfect words. Then I thought, "What if the figure 'Q' was formed all the
time in the clouds but just never noticed it?"
45 minutes had passed. Then I looked in the direction of San Diego and
a second 'Q' cloud configuration had formed, this time more perfectly. Only
once again have I witnessed a 'Q' sign but that was for a brief instant on
May 10 when a Christian friend was skeptical of my sightings. On May
10 a former member of the cult committed suicide in Texas.
While the Heaven's Gate cult didn't force mass suicide like Jim Jones
did, Applewhite had a tremendous influence over his victims. In 1995,
as a cab driver, I picked up Terry Nichols, one of the Oklahoma City
Bombers and he believed an asteroid would strike the Earth, that our
government knew about it and was lying to us. Doomsday or the "End
of Days" comes from the Book of Revelation and devout Bible scholars have
proven it is a fraud, not written by John a disciple of Jesus but by another
as propaganda against Nero whose name in Greek equals #666.
It was either Terry Nichols or Tim McVeigh who was influenced by
some of Marshall Applewhite's writings. Waco, which prompted the
Oklahoma City Bombing by McVeigh was in Texas, not far from where
      Applewhite was from.
      I have a photograph of a UFO dated March 14 , 1954. I am into coincidences
in history. Galello died January 8, Stephen Hawking was born on that date and
died March 14, the same date as when Albert Einstein was born. I was born
December 25 under similar circumstances as Sir Isaac Newton.
The terrorist Terry Nichols was born on April Fools Day, 1955. I do not
believe in an accidental Universe like most atheists, whom I hate.

the big thing about keneika jenkins story is that her family heavily believes that foul play was involved. her sister worked in a school cafeteria and said the freezer door was very very heavy, much too heavy for a heavily intoxicated person to open and close. it’s also been pointed out by people and her family that the surveillance camera recordings make it look like she is following the instructions of a person, guiding her to the basement and ultimately the kitchen, a place she normally wouldn’t have access too

In fact, safe enough that we never used to lock our doors during the day, only locking them before bed. Just goes to show that society is changing. We're not even safe in our own homes anymore! Not safe in the places we grew up and the communities we live in as adults. So frightening.

One time we saved a girl cause this guy one of our friends sort of knew gave about 5 of us girls a ride home to my place. We were getting out and he tried to keep the really intoxicated girl in his van saying he knew her and was taking her to her place. She was passed out in the front seat and he even held onto her arm as we got her out trying to pull her back in. We said no and the four of us girls carried her in the house. Turns out she didn't even know who the guy was who gave us a ride home the night before and the friend who sort of knew the guy....the guy was a friend of a friend of her cousin and she barely knew who he was. It was crazy and we were glad we stuck together. We all commented how he tried so hard to keep our friend in the van...never saw him around again when we went to parties. I'll never forget that though.

Very sad about Kenika Jenkins's death. I feel for her mother, family and friends. A couple of weeks ago, late at night, I walked into my local 7/11. After waiting for a few minutes for someone to attend to the register, I walked to the back of the store calling out to see if anyone was there. I didn't hear anything at first, so I turned to leave. Then I heard frantic knocking from inside the drinks refrigerator, opened the drinks door whereupon the employee said he was trapped and asked me to come around to where the door is and let him out. I did. He'd been stuck there for 45 minutes! Seems like those walk-in refrigerators should be made with doors that can be opened from inside.

Same thing happened to me when I was a manager at a convenience store. I was in the cooler/freezer stocking drinks and frozen item and somehow something had fallen in front of the door to get in or out and I could only open the door an inch. This was super early in the morning and no one came in for like 30 minutes and I was in a T-shirt & shorts and I was freezing! Finally a regular customer came in for coffee and I was able to get his attention and he picked up what turned out to be a push broom and let me out.

My heart aches for Keneeka's mother. While that girl was dying in a freezer, hotel management was calling the police on her mother who was just trying to find her. They could have prevented this, and I hold them responsible. Because of them, there's images of that womans daughter dead on the freezer floor on the internet. And even because of her friends too. You don't leave a girl whos that drunk alone under any circumstances. Not to mention they tried to downplay how drunk she really was. They didn't even find her body till almost an entire day from the time she disappeared and she hadn't even left the fucking hotel. It was like they couldn't care less

The staff doesn't make any money so it's wrong to say all they care about is money. It's the manager and loaner who worry about money not the staff who make jack shit. Therein lies the problem. You pay people barely enough to pay their rent and feed their kids and expect caring service too. What planet are u from. My daughter works for one of the world's largest hotel chains with a name we all know yet at the same time they like the govt. give with one hand and take it back with the other. They charge her almost $10 a day to park at her own job which if you add it up comes to quit a little nugget. Since her pay a few years back was barely more than the parking charge that meant they paid her for 8 hrs then turned around and took one back.At the same time in this 500 room lux hotel their getting usually about 80% occupancy with minimum rooms goin for about $175 and up from there and mostly paid by corp. So u do the math and consider their penchant for hiring help from across the border at bargain rates and what u find is a family of greedy bastards with more cash than anyone could spend in a hundred lifetimes and like Bezos ,it's never enough. These people are as ,was it F. SCOTT who said " the rich really are different" .So, off the tangent, all I'm saying is don't expect to much from people who are themselves neglected. Her supposed friends are another story. That's why I say, none of us have any friends but maybe one,our wife ,or husband if we're lucky and the rest are aquaintences . I've been on this rocky planet for 70 years and ul find ur friends let u down right when u need them most, usually. Rich/San Jose

@@bayleighc.5843 speaking as someone who works in hospitality in big clubs/hotels, a lot of times those walk in freezers will just be constantly left on, even if they’re in a section of the building that’s under renovations or not being used frequently. Some places have multiple units all run off the same power source so shutting just one down is highly impractical and difficult.
It’s somewhat likely that the freezer was on but the door was actually shut at the time, maybe because some food was still inside. The idea of the door being open and her stumbling in by accident was only ever a theory I think, cause there was no footage showing the actual freezer.
Maybe she opened the door to walk in for whatever reason and it either shut or she closed it behind herself. Usually it’s a lot more straightforward to get in to those things then out - the outside usually has big handles while the inside is usually bare and you’re just expected to push on it hard enough it pops back open, or slide it open. Something difficult for someone that drunk and uncoordinated to do probably.
I never close the freezers all the way behind me at work for that exact reason that’s it’s such a pain to open and if you end up stuck in there it’s unlikely anyone will hear you crying for help.
