- Lucifer and Pearlie NOW Scene from the movie "Winter's Tale".
Now?
You have no idea what "now" is.
Now I was flying.
Now I breathed fire and I ate them as they fled.
Now I whipped my tail and the winds trembled!
Now I am hidden in this pale shade of flesh and bone!
Now I am witness to man's eternal salvation!
Now I am witness to his demise!
DO NOT SPEAK TO ME OF TIME, DEMON!
Its simplest ebbs and turns elude your meager understanding!
Find another way
NOW!!!
I do not own anyting.
I’m a sucker for good dialogue.
I love the effect on his shadow as he yells.
As much as people hate on Will Smith and this movie I loved him in this scene. For once he was playing something so different from his usual character, I could watch an entire movie of him playing Lucifer if it's done right.
Who are these "people"? Did you talk to both of them?
Like him now🤭🤣
Como se llama la peliicula

Why hate will smith
That's just perfectly written
Genuinely shoulda made a movie about this character instead .
He is reading ‘A brief history of time’
I caught that too
And wearing a Jimmy Hendricks t-shirt
Probably laughing his ass off the whole time. No matter how smart a human is, their perception of the universe is nothing compared to God or Lucifer's.
Anyone here after he slapped Chris Rock?
🙋🏽♀️
Ye
His acting is far more superior then the radical puppet so call superstar of bollywood ✌️so I am here
@@Gaurnet2010 isn't bollywood a product of India alone?
Keep my wife's name out your mouth.... NOW
Will needs to find this energy in reference to dealing with the witch demon that is Jada😎
I think this inspired the little godbrand scene from Castelvenia
I never noticed the heat shadows on the wall before, when he gets angry.
My favorite scene in the movie😁
Cómo se llama la película?
He is a fantastic Devil.
Wow I didn’t know Will Smith had a Symbiote too
I’ve always love Will Smith.
How about now?
@@rickyrackey7930Yes even now. There are some of us who have a brain and think for ourselves, who don’t allow social media to cloud our judgement about somebody. I’ve always been a loyal fan to Will Smith and I’m not turning my back on him because he made a stupid mistake. Do I condone what he did? No, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to hate another human being that I don’t even know personally because he slapped another man. I swear many kids and immature grown folks allow yourselves to get caught in the sauce. Wake the hell up, rise above the childish slap jokes. It’s okay to be a fan of Will Smith and his movies. It’s okay to be a fan of another person who isn’t perfect and makes mistakes. Will Smith is human just like you, he’s entitled to mistakes just like all of us. Learn to love and not hate.
The one thing that doesn't make sense to me: Demons & Lucifer have to abide by laws despite being against "Good" which is the very reason for laws existing at all. So why the hell do they follow them? Why does a Demon have to ask permission and Lucifer acts like a literal lawyer and judge, even referred to as "your honor"?
An explanation honestly would've been nice for the director/studio to provide.
Are we refering to Lucifer the babylonian god? or to what Christians turned him into? Because Lucifer was considered a good guy for humans, he gave us technology (fire) he clothed us, he took care of us when we were shunned by the other gods. Then Christians decided to combine Lucifer with their fallen angel guy and Lucifer lost a lot of power with that one, Babylonian Lucifer was scary strong. Should not think of Lucy as evil, but more as a Jailer, not the Jailed.
To follow up, I this is the fallen angel Lucifer. The demons and angels follow the laws and rules because they are on equal playing field. If the demons started breaking the laws, the the omnipotent God would step up his game and I think everyone knows how that would go.
@@meyaenyo2593 I think you’re confusing Lucifer with Prometheus. Much of the narrative you give is from the story of Prometheus, which is a Greek tale.
Lucifer-the named spirit, is written of in the book of Isaiah, which is more than 700 years before Christ, and over 400 years before Alexander the Great occupied Israel.
It’s also believed that certain nations and regions had patron spirits and gods -Lucifer, being the conquered leader of these spirits, must be asked jurisdiction before allowing movement - As he, himself, must ask of the God that conquered him (according to writings in the book of Job). He has say over the earth and the airways - but still operates and organizes chaos within only his realms.
In Christian spiritual beliefs, man is made right by the crucifixion of Christ, and now is able to dwell and operate on that higher realm. So it is dangerous to allow Pearly to play above his pay grade -for himself, and Lucifer - if a human spirit is within the jurisdiction of the Almighty. Territories are not a thing to breach in the spiritual realm.
Adding to that, if God is the creator, then a creation can never be greater than its creator. It can defy a creator, but it is still within the boundaries of its own created nature. God is outside of time, and isn’t bound by it. At one point, dwelling in heaven, Lucifer wasn’t either. To know the significance of now having to live in time is to know that you have an end point. Only someone who has lived outside of time can truly comprehend the significance and importance of “Now”. That’s why this speech is so well written. Lucifers contempt for his demoted state and arrogance in putting Pearly in his place are very well done.
A couple misconceptions you're working with here. First, laws aren't about Good vs Evil, they're about Order vs Chaos. Second, Lucifer isn't against Order, quite the opposite, he is absolutely in favor of Order, he rebelled against Heaven because he objected to the Orders he was given (kneel before Humans) but he still enforces the Rules in Hell.

I haven't seen the movie, but the dialogue and acting are amazing. It's interesting to see the afterlife as a judicial bureaucracy.
Towards the end the acting seemed a little forced and childish. Up to that part it was really good.
Yeah I can see why he never played a villain again lol
I'm wondering what the timeline on this scene was. I didn't see the movie but I got the impression that it was early 20th century, but there's Lucifer wearing a Jimi Hendriks t-shirt and reading Stephen Hawking,
FerretJohn He’s a demon and thus not bound by the “laws of time.” He can transcend through time
@@GalenNight has more than a demon, he's Lucifer
@@GalenNight He isn't a demon, he's still a angel, hence why he referred to pearly a demon.
@@kongsied4279 he’s a fallen angel and became a demon.
@@GalenNight That's subjective and it depends your beliefs or ideologies, some religious scholars say that Lucifer was the fallen king of Babylon, and that Isaiah was essentially pointing out the irony that he fell from grace after oppressing so many people, Lucifers name is only mentioned once in the old testament, I tend to agree with this scholar
