    Hana, if you see this comment, I want you to know that I think that in both this video and in Going Clear, there is something so elegant and lovely about you. I hope you do write a book, since it's clear you have many stories to tell, and I hope that if an audiobook is made, that you narrate it. As a "never-in", I respect you greatly.

She is one of the originals in the game L.R.H. was playing. I will say it again; Hubbard was in more dire need of Psychiatric care than anyone he knew. $cientology was and still is to this day nothing more than a group of sympathetic, suggestible, sheeple being consistently conned by a drug addicted psychotic megalomaniac. Ms.Whitfield has the most insight into the man and the madness purely because of her firsthand experiences. She spoke brilliantly in the HBO documentary. Definitely a Loyal Officer.

  • @cyninbend
    @cyninbend Před 9 lety +11

    If LRH was a reincarnated anything, it was a thieving amoral pirate who raped and pillaged every community he sailed into. Who in the modern world would have conceived of making people walk the plank? He loved thumbing his nose at governments just like pirates did. He made up so many excuses for his scoffing of laws--and obviously lacked any philosophical education on why govt exists, a social contract to protect us all..from those would prey upon us.
    He was obviously mentally ill. It's too bad he wasn't treated or institutionalized before he amassed wealth that insulated him from any action. Had he engaged in all this criminality in a single jurisdiction, he'd not have lasted long--but he did something criminal, got in trouble, then took off for parts unknown before attacking anyone else. Every country eventually was on to him, so he disappeared.
    The only satisfaction we have is that David Miscavage--an individual equally bereft of morals and human empathy as himself--cared for him in his later years--a terror for anyone! He was probably drugged and living in a trailer or RV, moved around, no friends, no power, n one of the trapping he took such joy in. LOL
    Now we need an up and coming psycho freak to take over the care of David Miscavage as he ages. Someone he schooled in abuse, who can turn it on the master as he did.... They want to be free of intrusion by the rest of us--let them. Dog eat dog, esp old dogs. Just educate the innocents to protect new recruits from falling for the con. This was a great interview doing that--she speaks with such straight forward honesty. Fascinating interview.

    there is right and wrong and you should know the difference. their are people who follow others that have done wrong, whether it be sex offences, cruel acts against others and other crimes against humanity and are willing to forgive these acts because they believe that the balance of the good they did and the bad they did justifies what they did.
    take this as an example. a man or woman has dedicated their life to helping others and is recognized for this
    and reveared and praised for their selfless acts only to be found out later to be living a seperate life of lies, sexual deviance and coverups affecting many others with no regard to thier feelings only their own.
    is this right do you forgive and ignore ?

    Hubbards legacy is simply that he was a con man, a charismatic man to many, but most grifters are charismatic. It is an essential quality for a successful grifter. Hubbard also knew that he was full of shit and this is why he never faced his detractors and stayed isolated behind those who revered him. I suppose he was a coward as well in many ways because for a man who was certain he could save the world he rarely ventured out into it without being insulated by his devoted minions.

    I have conflicting views of Whitfield. I think it's commendable that now she tries to save families, but the nonchalant way she seems to describes certain details is chilling to me. She learned of the four year old kid that was stuck in the locker and did nothing. Was she that brainwashed at the time? It appears to me she had a conscience the whole way through it's just frustrating to me that she didn't really stand up to Hubbard very much (she did that one time, and helped that one woman who was locked up). It really took her a long time to wake up. It's hard to empathize when you are not in that situation and not that brainwashed. Everyone else loves her accent but it was very distracting for me. Just personal preference...

      i agree..she was in fear of him. brainwashed and isolated on a boat with a crazy person who has convinced them all that if they tried to stop him they'd pay dearly. it's really fucked up. it does surprise me of the extent of mental abuse-you'd think one person would snap out of it, once they docked would go straight to the police, but that's how organized he was- he had a tattle tale police in place- he had people tracking each other constantly. that's pretty fuckin scary really. as far as her speaking so matter of factly, once you've been head fucked for so long-it seems to be the norm. it's hard to break that hold your oppressor has on you. you get a stockhold syndrome mentality. this cult needs stomped out. completely.

      Anthony Najera he put himself out there, when you do that....you must expect to be scrutinised. Your leader was a cruel, paranoid schizophrenic, that abused people without any empathy. So, now I have no empathy for him!

      Crazy is denying that science has a place in faith.

      What stereotype would that be? Smart and secretive? It's not so much about secrets as it's about being respective to each individuals pursuit of science. As L. Ron Hubbard was the leader of The Church of Scientology his personal missions and goals should be discussed in a respectful and careful manner.

      question away, I'd never throw a fit. I'm strong in my beliefs. There are respectful ways of going about things though. A lot of what we teach is about communication so if your communication skills ar up to par then you should be just fine.

      As one ascends in The Church of Scientology he or she is expected to be more "Clear." Clear is a term in Scientology used to mean a state of mind and physical body that has been detoxified from addictive or even in some cases for those that decide every day medications. This is true. The idea however is to in there place use sauna treatments of purification and natural supplements to try and free your mind. Every pill or drug you take is a contract with big pharma to be a waking and talking example of their personal agenda and application of medical science as a whole. This is unfair. If each individual or at very least each Scientologist makes it their responsibility to be there own example pharmaceutical healing by seeking out natural treatments then the bonds are broken to big pharma.
