This is Old Europe! Don't you know that "The Door Which Will Not Stay Open" is an ancient, 1,000 year-old tradition, which cannot be changed? The legend is that if the door ever opens completely, Norway will fall!
Why is it so hard for non-native English speakers to pronounce "th"? Bless... Now I understand where our New York accent came from, the Dutch settlers. "Dis and dat" for "this and that", etc.
Private? This is not a private dinner party, it is a State banquet, to strengthen the relations between Norway and the Netherlands. All branches of government are present. It is also broadcasted on national TV.
Who R they? Their sort of fashion models. How so? Well, they pretend we're all common & their not & everyone in the country forks over part of every pay check by way of taxes then they buy a bunch of clothes, watches, diamonds, property, food, booze, horse's, dogs, cars, trips, parties, entrance into polo, tennis, golf clubs then they pretend they have it all including perfect luv lives, they show off what they spend the tax money on then wave, smile, smell flowers & sometimes talk to a kid. How do they get away with that? Because the people let them
Their 'wages' (the royal appanache) is set by the Parliament. If you think they earn too much, you can vote for a party that want to reduce it. This is a democratic process. I agree that in for example the UK, it is insane how much money they waste on the monarchy. Here in Norway however, the monarchy is relatively cheap. Probably cheaper than many presidents. They often wear the same dresses. The diamonds are inherrited from generation to generation. The royal castle, the king's summer estate as well as the royal yacht are all owned by the State, not by the king. There are no horses either, wich I honestly think is abit sad. We have a few royal carriges, but no horses to pull them. The horses were sold off by the Germans who occupied the castle during WWII. After that the Parliament never deemed it necessary.
That door is a main character of this story!:))
J’admire cette fidélité aux Costumes traditionnels, témoignage du Respect et de l’Amour de l’Histoire de leurs Nations. 🙏💙
All I’ll remember is that bloody door 😝 seriously that should have been sorted BEFORE Dinner 😱
Haha, true, but also funny to see that not everything goes as planned, not even at royal banquets.
Totalmente de acuerdo contigo, fue la que más llamo la atención 😆🚪( poseída)
I loved the little drama with the door.
and the solution: en gardister

You're down Harald, you have been ousted by my coup
If it only was that simple to make a coup, I would've done it long ago.😜
You need more medication to combat your delusions.
Queen Maxima is very attractive 💥🔥
The Queen of Norway looks ridiculous in the green frock.
This should be private! 😐 no cameras

You're not Norwegian so you have no say in this. Go away.
