The abuse i endured from my most recent past relationship, [was like 5 years ago now]; made me into the empath i am now. I learned after we split, what narcissism was. Now i know how to read the signs and i know that they cannot be ignored. Red flags are different than regular people flaws.
I knew she was, you know, "crazy". But she was so unpretentious and bawdy in her humor and open to discussion on any topic. I observed the lies and the regular pilfering of my stuff and let it go because she was very entertaining. It seemed like a game or competition trying to catch her in the act of mischief. Of course there was the physical attraction of it. I was 53 when we met and she was 30, and very attractive with penatrating green eyes. But I had misunderstood strong empathic ability for all of my life, thinking of myself as odd, idiosyncratic, a loner. So last January after she drugged me with Xanax and then robbed me of my money, wallet, medications and what ever else she could carry 🙃. I woke up to reality almost instantly. The police were no help. I started watching utube videos on narcissistic personality disorders and personality types in general, most importantly I discovered who I was and then everything made since, I'm still trying to examine all the things that interrupted me as tried to be normal. Now I see clearly and I embrace my feelings as a condition of love and understanding of empathy and kindness. I have a dark side as well and I used that to monitor, some small manipulations and collect evidence of her other crimes. Eventually she had an episode of narcissistic rage and attacked me. I got some of it on video and plenty of text messages that read like a confession. She tried to sell me my SS card, in a text. I'm working with the State Attorneys office to add new charges and help determine her sentencing. It has been very difficult but I could not just let her walk away from dragging me. Thats something that changes you, deep down inside. I have not healed yet but I will some day. Thanks for your time. Be kind. 🙃🦂🦄

I think more and more I am a sigma empath. I mostly try to avoid labeling myself as anything but me--I have a strong inclination toward the list of things mentioned here. I was able to set up a boundary and terms with an narcissist that allowed me a degree of preservation from manipulation and direct harm. When the association ended--the narcissist tried to unload on me all possible assaults she could. Some of my former associates took the bait--others didn't. This person couldn't phase me and gave up trying to seek revenge on me.
Although good advice, it seems you are condoning and even pushing for empaths to stay in relationships with narcissists. That's a horrible way for an empath to live, a constant negative drain on their energy. Narcissists are evil and can't be helped or saved. Empaths need to save themselves and get out of the relationship and also learn how to avoid ever falling into a narcissist's trap again
@@entropyfun there is nobody that should stay in a relationship with a narcissist: explode them and move on with no contact ideally, once you know their nature. Unless you explode them to the point they no longer keep trying to manipulate, you’re still in a mess because narcs cause messes.
Ive learned my best tactics from being in narc relationships and it's brought me into awareness and made me stronger and wiser. I can always replenish my energy. Currently fun to see the cycle of hoover devalue and discard getting smaller. I am trying to figure out if I am dealing with a broken empath with complex ptsd who has become a codependent rather than a true narc. I believe his mom is the ultimate narc and then he married a narc. He has major childhood wounds but is displaying all these manipulation tactics as well...empaths will mimic that behavior because they know nothing else until they become aware. I was like that until I got woken up myself by other empaths. The process took me 10 years of triggering and healing. Ofcourse this person could also be a greater narcissist faking it, but I am just going to have to go with my intuition and discernment here.

Now I know what the heck is going on & I changed my ways of dealing with her to maintain my sanity & put a limit to her abuse. Eventually I saw it was not reasons for dark behaviors but excuses. maybe I used to be an empath as I have always sensed other peoples situations an vulnerabilities an tried to offer help an not exploit what I sensed. In the last 13 months of semen retention I have realised that I can seperate needs inside me from wants in relationships with others. This could possiblt apply to me as narcissists who have tried to hurt me an lose me my job by manipulating an organising a smear campaign about me can only be doing this because they feel threatened by me. In one particular case my manager who is a physically superior man to me. Taller an stronger physically seems to of gone to extreme lengths to damage how people see me which is having a good heart, being generous an supportive of the team. I have changed jobs. And he got all passive agressive for 2 days afterwards. I saew it as my job to avoid him an help my workmates who were in shock adjust to my leaving. I may buy them some last day treats.
narcissists are fodder for a sigma empath. I don't waste my time with them because they're not worth the energy. They're seen a mile away and don't even know it - with a sigma that is.
I agree with the last point. I had to really put myself in her position in the “id” state to examine what I had done and the amount of trust that I had breached. She was never shown love and this manifestation was created as a last resort self defense mechanism, same as the “sigma” empath. Whether either reach their end path depends on a lot of factors. But it seems to be a decently strong will and a checkered history of both trauma and genuine love received.
In some traits , I agree with sigma empath,but the strongest in my experience is a Heyoka empath as having all the traits of Heyoka empaths!! when humans concern about their personal growing they have to give full attention to listening,to thinking,to observing!!!this is an important way to handle situations in life nowadays!!Acting with awareness!!

I've broke all my rules for love, don't want to accuse her for being narcissistic but some signs are so obvious. for a second I thought that some of traits she tried to project this on me. at some point started to question myself if I'm narcissist. besides all the pain still love her.
I'm a sigma empath and recently had to rid my house of a couple we thought were friends. It was the husband that was trouble. I had him pegged pretty early. He couldn't get in my head. He tried to get in my son's head too, but my son is an empath also, he didn't trust this guy from the beginning. Alot happened, but long story short. I sent this prick running by outsmarting him and keeping the heat on him. I wanted them out of my home. Lol I had this guy stuttering and throwing a fit. For any kind of empaths a narcicist is slow and stupid. To me he was easy to drive nuts. Remember my son is a young empath and this guy couldn't get in his head. It's just that these sort of people leave alot of destruction in their wake. He couldn't get into me or my boys head. But he got into the head of my everything, and we haven't been ok since we sent them packing. I feel a bad presence in my home. Please be mindful of people you allow in your life.
No narcissism is not due to trauma, some are but most is genetic and neurological inactivity in the limbic system, and can become worse towards psychopathy with further degradation

So Sigma level is one of the levels the Heyoka Empaths need to pass to reach that higher level and letting darkness pour into you enough to match your light and then combining the two sides to ascend to Heyoka level.

No one ever sees things the way I see them I know that no two people think alike but there are many who think similarly. Because of brain chemistry and wiring during childhood, narcissits aren't able to heal themselves. Lots of Divine Intervention might help them, but that may be impossible; narcissits refuse to see they have serious core issues.
The unfortunate truth is that they are both born AND made. The ones born are absolutely terrible. Those demons don’t care about anything besides what they can take in the moment. The ones made are bad but continually choose to make the wrong choices in order to hide their bad decision and their shame. The narcs that are “made” can still beg for forgiveness, pay penance, and possibly save their souls. They just have to actually do it. The narcs that are born cannot, their whole purpose on this planet is disgusting.

maybe I used to be an empath as I have always sensed other peoples situations an vulnerabilities an tried to offer help an not exploit what I sensed. In the last 13 months of semen retention I have realised that I can seperate needs inside me from wants in relationships with others. This could possiblt apply to me as narcissists who have tried to hurt me an lose me my job by manipulating an organising a smear campaign about me can only be doing this because they feel threatened by me. In one particular case my manager who is a physically superior man to me. Taller an stronger physically seems to of gone to extreme lengths to damage how people see me which is having a good heart, being generous an supportive of the team. I have changed jobs. And he got all passive agressive for 2 days afterwards. I saew it as my job to avoid him an help my workmates who were in shock adjust to my leaving. I may buy them some last day treats.

I agree with the last point. I had to really put myself in her position in the “id” state to examine what I had done and the amount of trust that I had breached. She was never shown love and this manifestation was created as a last resort self defense mechanism, same as the “sigma” empath. Whether either reach their end path depends on a lot of factors. But it seems to be a decently strong will and a checkered history of both trauma and genuine love received.

In some traits , I agree with sigma empath,but the strongest in my experience is a Heyoka empath as having all the traits of Heyoka empaths!! when humans concern about their personal growing they have to give full attention to listening,to thinking,to observing!!!this is an important way to handle situations in life nowadays!!Acting with awareness!!

I'm a sigma empath and recently had to rid my house of a couple we thought were friends. It was the husband that was trouble. I had him pegged pretty early. He couldn't get in my head. He tried to get in my son's head too, but my son is an empath also, he didn't trust this guy from the beginning. Alot happened, but long story short. I sent this prick running by outsmarting him and keeping the heat on him. I wanted them out of my home. Lol I had this guy stuttering and throwing a fit. For any kind of empaths a narcicist is slow and stupid. To me he was easy to drive nuts. Remember my son is a young empath and this guy couldn't get in his head. It's just that these sort of people leave alot of destruction in their wake. He couldn't get into me or my boys head. But he got into the head of my everything, and we haven't been ok since we sent them packing. I feel a bad presence in my home. Please be mindful of people you allow in your life.

I know who I am and what I will and won't do...I have a double dose of common sense and can read people..unfortunately I didn't trust myself and married the wrong man...after heavy duty counseling I learned..you can't make someone love you if they don't...you can't make them stay if they won't and a one sided relationship will never change or work....The best thing I did for me and my ex was divorce him..our relationship was destroying both of us
So Sigma level is one of the levels the Heyoka Empaths need to pass to reach that higher level and letting darkness pour into you enough to match your light and then combining the two sides to ascend to Heyoka level.

No one ever sees things the way I see them I know that no two people think alike but there are many who think similarly. Yes, i do want to help my ex girlfriend to see the other point of view but i do realize that i have to spend my next 15 years by teaching a feelings to a mental child that will always manipulate you. Things are harmonic when you understand the reality. Ego causes all the anger and the hate. Narcissism is the culmination of the ego. Empathy is the culmination of the consciousness.

Because of brain chemistry and wiring during childhood, narcissits aren't able to heal themselves. Lots of Divine Intervention might help them, but that may be impossible; narcissits refuse to see they have serious core issues.
I and my sisters were abused & neglected. How come I'm the only empathy & they're narcissistic? No. Narcissists are Born. Not Made.
The unfortunate truth is that they are both born AND made. The ones born are absolutely terrible. Those demons don’t care about anything besides what they can take in the moment. The ones made are bad but continually choose to make the wrong choices in order to hide their bad decision and their shame. The narcs that are “made” can still beg for forgiveness, pay penance, and possibly save their souls. They just have to actually do it. The narcs that are born cannot, their whole purpose on this planet is disgusting.
