I think the italy 🇮🇹 picture was 94, definitely werent 96 as they mentioned Eurovision was in may 1996. Euro 96 was held in the UK🇬🇧 i think italy won the world cup in 1994

Italia 1990 was the world cup where Ireland went as far as to make it to the quarter finals. The World Cup in 1994 was held in the USA.
Ireland won Eurovision back to back several times in the 1990's and the cost of hosting the competition was becoming too much for the state to bear. We're only a small country, after all! There's been a definite suspicion that judges have been choosing specifically shit songs ever since.
I wondered why everyone's hair was different, then I realised it was mirror flipped.
Slightly sped up too. It's amazing how flipping the image and changing the playback speed can dodge copyright 🤔
