I'm drunk af rn and I was able to understand the instructions in this video. That's how you know it was made correctly. Thank you mate, Now i just have to figure out how to get the rest of the stuff onto the avatar I've boguht.
It feels like things were skipped and assumed I knew how to do. I could not get to where you were when you started uploading files. Not very helpful

Yep it just simply didn’t compile in correctly
I've never messed around with PC programs like this so me trying this is like an old man trying to open Facebook with his screen shut off

I downloaded everything on the vrchat download page, but it's still saying that I have to download the stuff.
How exactly do I get to there where you were on,to see the avatar cuz I just downloaded the poiyomi toon shader but I don’t know where to go from there
Well you will need unity if you mean where I imported poi shader and all. The version atm that vrchat uses is 2019.4.31f1.

I have a bunch of missing script errors
I was ripping my hair out trying to figure out why wasn’t this working and why I couldn’t upload my avatar when I realized I downloaded the worlds sdk instead of the avatars one 😭 I really should’ve looked
i did everything, it shows on the sdk, i looked and the "my creations" tab, and its still not there. what do i do??
If it shows in the content manager in the sdk then its just vrchat being slow and you just need to wait.

what if it says there isn't a asset bundle how do i do that?
If your referring to a console error of prefab not found. It means your missing scripts the avatar uses. This can be fixed by removing the scripts or adding the scripts it’s missing
I'm so confused, i got the stuff on unity, but it's not letting me change the colors out of pink
make sure you've added the shaders
I made sure the id box was empty and then it said that they couldn't upload an avatar that they didn't own because there was no id number lol
i dont see the avatar in vrc but i see it on the sdk and website but not inside vrc
If it shows in content manager, double check the avatar section and look for My Creations tab
im even more confused
how do i get the stuff in the action menu to come up? it just shows the basic ones thats giving to every default avatar?
You add the menus in your avatar descriptor but if you bought ur avatar it should already be setup

Wait how did you get the vrchat menu on unity
When you start up your project make sure you're using the correct build should be an option before you pick what type of project you want to switch it to the one compatible with vrchat
whenever i upload it it says prefab not found and idk how to fix it
your missing/have a corrupted script. It is best to check the readme or page on what the avatar needs to work

What's the assets store?
Little late but it basically allows you to buy certain assets to put in unity. For example, if your creating an avatar that uses “Dynamic Bones Asset” you want to buy that from the asset store.

stuck on scripting and wont allow me to pull up control panel
You can try to reimport the avatar sdk. Make sure its the up to date version which you can get from the website. if it says prefab errors then your missing something from the avatar itself that it uses
@@Purelocov12 when i import the vrcsdk it doesn't display the tab up top that holds control panel button.
How do u do it for quest ??? I don’t have a pc i need help
You need a pc to upload for pc&quest models

@@Purelocov12 Male sure when you upload for quest, you click “Optimize to android” or something like that before you upload or it won’t be stable on quest

Prefab errors
Your most likely missing scripts/objects for the avatar. Check where you bought the avatar and see what they require
