Hi there Brent, a great upgrade to the Hornet. The front bumper and side bars, along with the alloy looking wheels, just help add some break of the black plastic. I am currently building my childhood Hornet again 😂. But being an adult, the body appears to have come out better that when I was 13 years old. I’ve started with the body first this time.😊 best wishes 😊
Really nice upgrades! Even if the upgrades don't increase the performance (maybe except for the motor), they make this one of the best looking Hornets out there! 👍

Really came out nice Brent! Although I think I still like the style of the white wheels better, these wheels don’t look bad at all. Think I would of painted the white ones grey instead. Those crash bars really look epic and like you said totally transformed the whole package! Same for the new front bumper. This hydro dip paint job is Sick to the max! You’ll be sure to win something down there at USTE. Wish I were going too, so I could meet all you fine peeps!👍🏻👊🏼😃

Looks very racy now! can't wait to see it go with the extra weight it may not pop off the ground as much.
mine cut for 2x3 saddle pack at rear (CG back+up more) handled lots better than stock for putting more weight where+when it counted. it took a ton of tinkering to make it stay flat for power sliding corners but once there it was quick around the track. I should have kept it but got more into racing my Fox and RC10.
back when, my Hornet was race legal blasphemy but great in stock Hornet class. you could do near anything but it HAD to be a Hornet/clone chassis and 20 degree brush timing 27 turn motor with bushings. outlaw stock allowed 27 turn 34 degree brush timing motor with ball bearings, too squirrely to bother with and nowhere near as fun racing.

Nothing looks better than the five point star wheels from Tamiya! If you went with an aluminum five point wheel, I would’ve loved it, but the ones you chose are just boring.
