  • How to replace the thermostat, lower radiator hose, and coolant antifreeze.
For all of you that like to work on your own vehicles, you might run across a time when you need to change your thermostat. On the Hummer H3, 3.7L, I5 engine, it is just as easy to replace the lower radiator hose at the same time. During this whole process, you will end up changing out the coolant at the same time. Consider the coolant as standard maintenance. My video can guide you to do it yourself. This DIY was performed on a 2009 Hummer H3T Truck with a 3.7 liter, I5.
I would rate the difficulty as 2.5 out of 5 🔧. Fairly straightforward with the correct tools.

I make sure the truck is level or slight incline from the front. Let it idle long enough for the thermostat to open up. Make sure the heater is on and blowing inside the cab. Keep pouring coolant in until it's level with the neck of the radiator. Fill overflow tank to full level after driving on level surface.

About 2 Gallons. Get 3 just to be safe. 50/50 mix

You should show the process while you are actually removing them the parts one by one ,but you are showing the removed parts after you have removed them without us being able to see how you removed them step by step , just would be better to show all the details .

Yes, I agree with you. I've been getting better at the videos from when I first started. I need to get a tripod as my extra helper.
