    Any thoughts on actually using it as just a "coffee table' ... meaning to you think the table would hold up to gentle or minor use with plates, mugs, glasses etc. Any worries about spillage on the surface?
    Thanks in advanced.

      I'm looking at a 32" monitor as I type this, and have an industrial 27" touchscreen with a glass touch area. While sturdy enough to set stuff on, and able to clean with Windex, I don't find it large enough for a coffee table. It would however be large enough for a chair side table, or tv tray. No idea how durable this brand is though, mine is an ELO.

    Did you have any issues with touch? I noticed that because of the distance from glass to panel y kept clicking on "wrong places". And also the glass is not as smooth as a phone and your finger has issues dragging things.

    • @UrGamingTechie
      @UrGamingTechie  Před 3 lety

      Never had an issue with it clicking in wrong places. Works great for me and the wife. It def isn’t as smooth as an iPad, but I also didn’t expect it to be. It still works really well for a touch screen of the size, and I haven’t had issues playing any of the games, even fling hockey which I really have fun with

    Arcade1up as usual, used the cheaper monitor for the 24 in table and it shows and they cut costs on it.
    The 32 inch monitor is of higher quality and they didn't cost cut as much.
    That is why the colors are better on the 32in, it is a superior, more expensive monitor they used.

    • @ShaloneCason
      @ShaloneCason Před 2 lety

      100% agree. I got my 32 inch a few days ago. It looks way better than the 24. Love the resolution and colors. The games are great as well. It is not a glorified tablet. The games are optimized for multiplayer (the board rotates for different players), so yeah...well worth the $1,000 in my opinion.

      @@UrGamingTechie Thanks. I got the system for our family for Christmas. Kids are already grown , but I want to get us to do more non-TV things together. My wife loves the Game of Life. The reason I was afraid it was being dropped is that the first time I secretly unboxed the unit, Life was in the ads, but last week when I secretly unboxed again to download some games, Game of Life was not in the rotation of adverts. Btw I have this big box in my utility room in the basement with a sheet for now. 😂

  • @rileybusse9351

    They need to shrink the bezels in 2022 with the new version this is way too big for a table yes the screen is bigger than the 24" I get that but the 3rd 2" still very small for a screen the whole thing is 32" the screen is not 32" why can't they put the vessels pretty much almost to the edge I mean we have ipads that are super cheap now even the ipad Mini 6 starts off at $600 maybe 800 and total but this thing is like 1600 bucks Not worth it especially if it's for kids it should only be $200 I can easily get a machine that's similar to this that's at least 400 And it will have better games and it will run smoother For 3 fourths less of the price

    • @UrGamingTechie
      @UrGamingTechie  Před 2 lety

      Edge to edge would be a crazy cost, more then this already cost. iPads are expensive for the edge to edge ones and look how small there are. Of course on gen 2 of this I’d love to see smaller bezels but that’s nothing that bothers me on the 32inch, gives some room for cups and drinks around the table etc.
      Point here is I would buy an iPad to play a game around the table with 4 to 6 friends, local multiplayer is where a table like this excels and an iPad will never be able to provide that experience well

      @@petermacnab1871 the touch screen isn't perfect, but it works good enough to play the games without frustration. Anyone with touch screen experience should have no problem at all.
