    I demo'd a Stark Varg this past weekend on an MX track. I went in with an open mind, and the bike was ok, but not nearly as refined or nice as the newer gas bikes. The Stark felt like it would be great to tool around the backyard on, but I'll be keeping my 2 stroke for MX and single track.

      Thank you for taking the time to reply! I absolutely love the stark on single track and would prefer it over any of my gas motorcycles. But totally understand and respect your opinion I think it’s great. You took the time to go ride one! I’m keeping my 500 EXC in my fleet. I don’t think electric will ever totally replace gas. Hard to go on a cross country trip on electric but for what I do out the expedition truck this bike totally has changed my game with having to carry gas in the back once again. I appreciate you taking the time to comment! Braaap!

Bike 79 0r maybe 80! LOL! I will have this one for a long time! So amazing right out of the box! As you know it will only get better from here! CR high bars and Tubliss system going in this week as well as Highway dirtbike hand guards witch will take some fab to pull off with the phone/display on the triple clamps! I just got the bike on Tuesday and made it home yesterday! High winds closed the trip early. That's ok because I have a lot to do!

      @@ivladjoll7410 for sure! The writing I really enjoyed doing as a tight technical single track, which would normally be first and second gear on a 300. With the electric motorcycles the faster you go, the more the battery drains. I got that hour and 13 minutes of riding and that took me down to 71% battery which charged off the solar on the truck, a little less than an hour and a half to 100%! Absolutely love the bike!

      I don’t know who Joe is and I definitely don’t have any affiliation stark future. I just keep it real and raw. I go with what I know! 35min for 10% charge?

    • @TRCa51
      @TRCa51  Před 2 měsíci

      That sounds about right! At 70% takes about an hour and 25 minutes off the truck and I have it set to the slowest charge rate on 110 so the charges off the solar on my truck!

    • @ThisTall
      @ThisTall Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@TRCa51 I’m sure I can look this up elsewhere. But what’s the bikes fastest possible charge time? And what does a 2nd battery cost?

    • @TRCa51
      @TRCa51  Před 2 měsíci

      @@ThisTall it would be half the time if I were to charge it off of 220 V instead of 110 V. My plan was just to be able to charge it off of the solar that I have off the truck which works really well! Next week I will be out at Glen Helen motocross track in Southern California and I will be doing some Motos and recharges in between! I believe another bat is $3500 but not easily swappable. You can go to the Stark website and look at all the parts available for the bike and I actually feel like everything’s pretty reasonably priced!

    Is it too skinny to grip good with your knees?

    • @TRCa51
      @TRCa51  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Being that I have rub marks now on the radiator shrouds, I would say no. As a guy that comes with the background of 30 years of riding observe motorcycle trials, I tend to ride really not gripping the bike and letting the bike float under me with pressure being applied to the foot pegs. if you’re coming from a motocross background, you tend to be very grippy on the bike where I tend to let the bike float underneath me. Even still with my riding style there’s definitely rub marks on the plastics. Hope this answers your question! Thank you for taking the time to comment! Cheers, brother!

      @TRCa51  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I have to say I have no idea what the real ranges of the motorcycle. I ride single track hard and extreme Enduro and was riding very technical and flow and fun single track. I seem to be always at 70% battery life left after about an hour hour and 15 minutes, an hour and 30 minutes that takes about an hour and a half to charge back up off the truck! I tried to shoot some drone footage of the ride, but it got super windy and the drone would not follow me due to the Highwinds.

      @@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 and to be totally clear if you’re riding normal like desert terrain, it may not be enough range for you. I’m riding single track and hard terrain that doesn’t take a whole lot of battery.
