This time, we're covering the QBB LSW.
A bigger brother to the Type 25, the QBB offers LMG-grade damage and capacity, with some similar traits to its fast-firing sibling.
The QBB LSW is the light support weapon variant of the Chinese QBZ assault rifle design.
Designed for more sustained use, and for use with more powerful ammunition - the QBB is equipped with a heavier barrel, larger drum magazine and a front-mounted bipod.
An improved variant of the QBZ platform was introduced in 2010: the QBZ-95-1, or 'Gai' meaning modified. It's not outside the realm of possibility that an extrapolated future variant will remain in service by the year 2025.
Given the QBB's external similarity to that of the Type 25, this particular variant is likely to be a semi-fictional modification of the futuristic 2025 platform, rather than a direct representation of the QBB-95 that exists today.
In-game, the QBB is the lowest damage LMG - but compared to most other weapons, per-shot damage is relatively high, needing just 3 shots to kill at a close range.
At a distance, you may need up to 5 shots: and it is worth noting that the QBB has no headshot multiplier whatsoever - so the wisest strategy is to always aim for centre mass.
Like most of the LMGs, range dropoff is relatively slow, offering fairly consistent performance out to a middle range - but the QBB pales in comparison to the Mk 48's leviathan reach.
It is its rate of fire where the QBB LSW shines - trumping all other LMGs at 940 rounds per minute, on par with most SMGs.
With Rapid Fire equipped, you'll dole out 1250 rounds per minute instead - although this does come with a range penalty, and greater recoil.
Hipfire spread is the same as all of the other LMGs, lying between the assault rifles and sniper class performance: but the QBB's high rate of fire does make for perhaps the best hipfire performance within its class.
Recoil is moderate, relatively mild on a per-shot basis but quickly compounding due to the ferocious level of output.
You'd be well advised to burst fire, especially when tackling enemies at a distance.
Aim time is marginally quicker than its peers, although the QBB does suffer from the universally slow handling times associated with the LMGs: your movement speed is of the slowest for any primary weapon, at 90% of the maximum base speed.
Magazine capacity is of a healthy 75 rounds, or 100 with the extended clip attachment: a little lower than the belt-fed weapons, but a cut above most of the more mobile weapon options.
Of course, with the QBB's elevated output these 75 rounds are chewed through quickly - but thankfully reloads aren't too slow to endure, at 3.72 seconds - positively sprightly compared to the Mk 48.
The QBB LSW is perhaps the LMG most suited to close-range area denial: a sustained ability to dole out a huge amount of lead in a relatively short space of time can turn the tide when holding a critical objective.
It boasts the fire rate of an SMG, with the damage of an LMG - few weapons will kill as quickly at a close range.
Of course, the usual downsides of the LMG class do apply: slowed movement and sluggish handling speeds will be your burden to bear when equipping this weapon.
Long range performance suffers too, compared to the other options in the LMG class: moderate recoil and low damage mean it's the weakest LMG at a distance.
Still, the QBB's rate of fire can round out the otherwise slow handling traits, and with the right loadout you can give even the most fervent of enemy a run for their money.

It wasn't the best, but this thing was a damn melt machine at close-medium range. Always liked throwing an adjustable stock on it, walking around aimed all the time, and melting anyone that dared enter my peripheral vision

that Trophy system saved his ass at 7:10! the semtex was already stuck on him and he got it out in time
I also noticed that... I thought being stuck gave no hope, but it looks like the trophy system can still fire at your face to remove that semtex without harming you. It's really hilarious!
I love that LMGs finally feel like they have a place where they can excel in this game. In the past COD games I just used them for novelty, now my highest weapon K/D is actually with the MK48.

I tried this set up you recommended stu. It's unbelievably effective on smaller maps and objective-based game modes.
This class is actually really cool. One of my favorites you've presented thus far. Can't wait to try it
As a LMG user primarily, I used them just so I don't need to reload as often, and their consistency with range. Both of those things are huge advantages to me. Of course they're balanced out with the overall "slowness" to them. They require a different style of play and patience. Practice with them and you'll find that the benefits can definitely be worth it.
So, the QBB LSW is not your typical "stay-behind-your-lines-and-give-support" Light Machine Gun. I learned that the hard way, right after departing from the Mk 48. I feel like it's more of a front line gun. Let me cover the loadout that works best for me.
Weapons: QBB LSW, Combat Knife
Wildcards: Primary Gunfighter, Perk 2 Greed
Attachments: Fore Grip, Quickdraw Handle, Adjustable Stock
Perks: Flak Jacket, Toughness + Scavenger, Dexterity
The Fore Grip reduces the awful recoil that the QBB LSW possesses. I don't understand why people here don't use this, and instead use a Suppressor. If you want a stealth LMG, go for the HAMR. With the Fore Grip, I can tackle targets at longer ranges. The next two attachments are pretty straightforward for someone operating on the front lines. The Quickdraw Handle helps me be more aggressive when facing opponents in CQB, and usually come out on top. The Adjustable Stock gives a boost to that aggressive play.
Flak Jacket protects me against almost all form of explosives. Players love chucking their C4 packs, and man, that is annoying. Toughness prevents me from flinching too much in firefights. This is critical, as the QBB LSW is the lowest damaging LMG, and it's a pain in the ass just to kill someone sometimes. I packed Scavenger because I found myself running dry on ammo a lot, and the QBB LSW just burns through its starting capacity. Finally, Dexterity helps once again with the aggressive play, letting me acquire a target faster. Climbing and mantling quicker is a nice bonus too.
Overall, this is a monster, but only in the right hands, and it takes quite a while for one to get used to the way it's played. Oh, and ignore the optical attachments; the Iron Sights are usable enough, and any sights put on this gun just look ugly.
The foregrip in Black Ops 2 isn't all that great. I'll refer you to other videos that explain precisely what it does. Look for Drift0r's video, I believe it's called "Foregrip: what it actually does to your gun"
Olivier Leboeuf I've tested the QBB LSW without a Foregrip and with one, and I felt a difference.
Well in the end it's all about how you feel about the weapon. There's no good or bad setup with a gun if you're skilled with it, right?
(Except the ACOG Uzi from Black Ops. That sh*t was garbage)
Alphoklos The fore grip only reduces recoil by 2%. The QBB has low recoil already. The problem with it at range is the muzzle flash makes it difficult to track a moving target.
Nicholas Kennedy Indeed. However, what I said is true as well; I actually did feel a difference when I compared the gun with and without a Foregrip. The QBB LSW's ferocious fire rate is what's throwing me off-target - I'm completely fine with the muzzle flash.
Interesting build on this LMG. Normally they're meant for long range defense but this LMG is more based around CQB and defense.

I would suggest that scavenger is the greater choice with this class in mind. The high fire rate combined with both the C4 and trophy system would benefit greatly from additional replenishment and would allow for a more sustained aggressive lmg role. Also having 2 trophy systems and constant C4 certainly helps when defending objectives.
IMO: ALWAYS bring a secondary if you use an LMG.
I think it's because LMG's shine the most when fired from prepared positions near objectives - mainly for supporting friendlies while attacking or providing solid defense.
And Hardpoint is especially good for the QBB, since it forces attackers to close quarter gunfights in tight spaces, where the supreme rate of fire is a key to victory.
Lethargic? Wow, very cool word to use, as it does fit the truly sluggish movement that must be suffered through while using these BEAST.
I kind of wish this gun was available on zombies. It would be so much better than the other lmgs.

Sometimes, I swap the suppressor for another trophy system and a Five-Seven.
you dont have to loiter around with it, you can simply put a stock on it like i do, that way i use it almost like an assault rifle, except i aim a little more, like around corners.
The stock makes any LMG a different weapon.

Quick tip- Rapid fire on the QBB may decrease accuraccy, but when paired with a Foregrip, it has the bullet spread of the Vector K10!
This loadout is just amazing for Hardpoint. Got 15 wins in a row, being the MVP in all of them. I freaking love it now, having used to hate on it.

In Call Of Duty Mobile, the weapon's name is S36 with different vertical magazine.
I think Movement speed should be broken down 50/50
Smgs, Pistols, Machine pistols and Specials should have 50%
Assault rifles, Snipers and Shotguns 45%
Lmgs, Launchers and Marksman rifles 40%
Lightweight adds 1.15x Speed
EXAMPLES
Fal DSW, Five seven, lightweight 109.25%
Mk48 No secondary Lightweight 103.5%
PDW-57, RPG 90%
It would be slower than a Juggernaut suit equipped which downs base speed to 65%. So that is a problem with your suggestion.

no i dont want you to be able to whip out a pistol and run at 100%. your movement speed should never change based on the weapon you're carrying

Running this weapon with dual band, grip and stock it honestly becomes the best lmg in bo2. It's hard to determine the best lmg in this game cuz all of them are way too damn good.

It's a reference to the "Pick 10" system used in class creation. Similarly, if you notice each of the items he chooses for the class in the video will have a certain amount of the hexagon filled in as he shows it; this is an indication of how many points he's used.

I used the QBB with the adjustable zoom scope and adjustable stock to sideswipe enemies from afar. Quite the opposite of a close range build.

Playing Plutonium recently, this gun is among the best in the game. It’s a Type-25 with the same insane fire rate but with huge clips, almost no recoil and way better damage… with QuickDraw and Front Grip it becomes a death laser at any range
Exactly, there was about 1 second between the two semtexes, so they're easy to get confused. Generally when people post timestamps they end up jumping to right after what they were talking about happened.

i love this gun i was in a game once3 getting killed by a lmg and then i picked up the qbb lsw with surpressor stock and quickdraw and i was unstoppable hahahaha >:)

I honestly felt you should have replaced the suppressor with something like FMJ. That attachment allows for you to rip apart enemies behind cover, and it would also be beneficial in this class since you don't have any real stealth perks.
I feel that the LMG's all perform best with the target finder. I swap the laser for that because it helps to lock places down better than better hipfire

When was i talking about this gun specifically? With the first videos in his series he went really in depth in the history. Now its much more simply about Call of Duty and much less about real world weapons themselves.
Guys he is going to make a video on every gun. He goes in order. Starting with the class of gun then when u unlock them.( first vid- first smg, second vid- first AR and so forth)
It does. The QQB is the heavier version of the Type 25 and is meant for support.
Remaining two points, I'd use them as the Awareness perk. When you use a headset, and you sometimes stop with an LMG, you can listen to footsteps better, since you won't be running arround like you would with an LMG.

Exactly. LSW is just an acronym for Light Support Weapon. It has nothing to do with where the weapon was developed: rather, it has everything to do with describing its intended use.

If anything, the QBB does exist today, 1997, they released the QBB-95, basically what the RPK was to the AK-47, but for the Type 95 Chinese assault rifle

Adjustable Stock, Extended Mags, Rapid Fire.
Usually RF is a bad attachment, but it bumps up the rate of fire to above the death machine so it kills extremely fast at close to close-mid range. The downside is low mobility and decreased long range ability, but it's a very viable choice for more defencive rushers.
Agreed! I started using this weapon, and I am easily getting score streaks.
3:10 Reload procedure with a belt-fed is a more complex operation, and is intended to be done from a seated, prone, or emplacement-mounted position (and while working with an assistant called a loader). To be able to reload a belt-fed machine gun from a standing position, and to do so within a timely fashion, requires peak-human dexterity. It's a laborious ordeal too, so it also requires no small degree of endurance, what with all the motions your hands and arms go through (again, part of the reason belt-fed guns are typically operated by a crew of two).

he may not be the best player out there, most times the enemies appear to be bots or something^^ but he makes it look and sound so great, love your stuff, even though I dont even play CoD anymore

They compensated by making your run speed incredibly slow, not just relative to other primaries but also very disadvantageous in BO2's small choked maps.
They made the LMGs actually suit their role, which is to post up and get people far range.
