Plane Crash Emergency Relay - ALWAYS Monitor 121.5

swaynemartin.com/ While over the Gulf of Mexico, returning from Nicaragua in a King Air F90, we heard a distress call over 121.5 from a pilot who witnessed another airplane make an emergency water landing. This is why you should ALWAYS monitor 121.5 - We then relayed information to Houston Center, which enacted search and rescue procedures.

Note - This King Air recently had a tail number change to N931SB, hence the inaccurate placard in the cockpit.
