I wanna see Appsro play through this and animate it the way he did with Fallout 4.
The only reason we dont see more animation is because it takes a lot of time... wish it made more sense for them too.
I think Bioshock has a big enough following that if they did animate it, it would pull in views.
We really need a full Neebs playthrough!

I mean sure but only if there is a guide with him otherwise it'll be 1 hour of progress and 4 hours of going the wrong way or missing stuff right in front of your eyes. I love Neebs but his situational awareness is near 0. I do agree a full trilogy playthrough would be so nostalgic and awesome.

@@jefferygreen4856 It was killing me though, I did these always lightning fast even when first introduced. Love the guys no matter what and enjoy the content, the BioShock series is one of my favorites.
Neebs gets his tunnel vision on and forgets to look at the whole screen.

The diary comment was a full on face palm moment for me 😂 But hey you don’t watch a Neebs playthrough for their elite gaming ability
To be fair. I think this was one of the first games that doesn’t make you sit still and listen to an audio recording. You can hit play and keep moving. But they obviously didn’t know that.
the diary would have interrupted their conversations. this isn't exactly a paid ad for bioshock. they were already ignoring information about how to proceed while saying how good the audio production is. the dumpster is more about hanging out after work
I'm fangirling with ya Appsro. My absolute favorite game of all time. The story, the artwork, the architecture, gameplay, just everything. Ugh.
Bioshock is one of the best games to play. Very action filled. Been awhile since I've played all 3 bioshock games. Definitely would recommend a full play through with the neebs crew
Whats wild about bioshock as a game is I took a class worth 4 credits on its symbolism, from Greek/roman gods and how they foreshadow to them constantly shitting on Ayn Rand, great game and awesome class!

This whole series was easily one of my favorite storytelling experiences... There's some hefty competition there but even nowadays it still holds up incredibly well.
They'd actually have to read and listen to the things happening on the screen though 😆

Every time Neebs walks past an Audio Diary my heart breaks.
Around 23 minutes........ Yes, the joysticks were "push-down" back at that time... Even when the 360 released. 360 released 2005, two years before Bioshock.
Yep. Super Monkey Ball on the PS was one of the very first games (if not THE first) to utilize the joystick press. It was something few developers bothered using for years... and then suddenly every game on the market used it to some degree. I personally hated when it became the default sprint button for some companies, like Bethesda--although some companies have at least improved on the idea by making it toggle-able (press it once and you sprint instead of having to hold it down). Yay for accessibility!

This brings back some serious memories, remember going to a friends house that was absolutely obsessed with the game when it was released and wanted to show it to me. I wasn't much of a gamer but even still it was bad ass to watch him play
Each of the guys start their own full playthrough, hardest difficulty, compete to see how far they can get! Appsro can act as a grumpy guide since he's played it before

The live-action BioShock movie was confirmed by Netflix in February 2022. Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) is at the helm of the BioShock movie, bringing the live-action Rapture to life alongside Vertigo Entertainment Take-Two and 2K. No release date yet.
Hope it’s a 8 episode series and not just a 2 hour movie.

I think making games like bioshock fallout 3 and gta 4 on mobile devices is the move. I know Bethesda was working on fo3 for mobile and that's a cool idea

The intro to Bioshock Infinite was pretty dang good as well. I recently played through it again, and it made me smile.

The book for Bioshock tells a great story about how everything descended into madness and fits perfectly right before playing the game.

I found it funny that Appsro, the guy who was all about this game, just randomly left after a text from his daughter. Super sweet, and one of the reasons I love these guys, but funny video wise.

I've always been absolutely fascinated by the Art Deco style in the game. I love it. As much as I hate being under the ocean, I had to play this game. It was amazing.
And after doing a bit of digging, I found that Irrational Games changed their name to Ghost Story Games. Apparently they have a game coming out "soon" called Judas that looks to be rather similar to Bioshock, but in space.
This is such an amazing game. Glad to see neebs gaming playing it. Hope it becomes a full playthrough
I beat this game on extreme difficulty when I was a kid. I absolutely love this game.

One of my FAVORITE games of all time! I even got the tattoos your main character has. I LOVE THIS GAME!
Even if the game itself doesn't let you remap keys, you can remap them through Steam. Click on the game in your library and look to the right of the screen for controller settings. Put Y on the A button, then maybe put A for interact as a hold button activation on X; so tapping X you get reload and then holding it has the effect of pressing A for interact. Easy to do :)

Bioshock devs changed studio name from "Irrational Games" To "Ghost Story Games" and are currently working on a first person horror ish game set in space called "Judas" looks pretty good.
That first hack was painful to watch but on par for this channel. 5 stars
as with everyone else, please do a play through! this channel should be partly for just play throughs where its more chill and dumpster like.

I won a collector's edition of this back when it came out - art book, the soundtrack on vinyl and some other cool stuff. Never played it due to my absolute fear of underwater :( One of those games I really WISH I could play!
Id love to see Neebs do a full playthrough of Second Sight. It wasnt nearly as popular as Bioshock but it was one of the best games the Gamecube ever had and its on Steam now. I've played through it multiple times and I still love the story and the Powers

This is one of my favorite games.Also one of the very first person shooters that I've ever played.And I cannot recommend enough that you do a full play through of at least this game if not all of them
THANK YOU FOR THE SUBTITLES. I was honestly close to turning off the playthrough because of the talking over the game dialogue. Love your commentary but we're still here to watch you play a game. Any other time than when story dialogue is happening is key
