Bioshock is an amazing game for many reasons. For one, it has the word "shock" in it. Shocking someone has to do with electricity, which is inherently very cool. The next thing is that we always have a girl following us around, so our rizz must be out of control. Finally our character's name is Booker, which is just like shooting guard Devin Booker of the Pheonix Suns basketball team. Thank you for coming to my presentation. - Hry
I love the idea of a game developer getting so upset about people getting the hardest achievement in their game that they actively create a new one just to send as many people into a full mental breakdown as possible purely out of spite

An enemy walking off the map to ruin a challenge has to be the most infuriating moment of the game not working 😭
This happened more often than not with handymen of all things. Just leaping right into the void cause their AI is broken sometimes

Actually the worst thing to happen is the last enemy NOT BLOODY SPAWNING
Once, the enemies on a gunship didn't come down when the gunship left. They stayed there while I looked everywhere like crazy. So yeah, infuriatimg af!

Levine made this impossible because it was part of a contest for the player to be included in the DLC. For anyone who didn't know, the first couple people who completed it, would be shown in the actual storyline DLC. Their names can be shown in Burial at sea part 1 in the nursery section.
It's not worth it lol, at least just leave the achievement completion out of this
@@MrLachapell idk. I chased the achievement at the time because I wanted my name in the dlc. But I gave up because of how hard it was.

I tried to do this achievement about a month ago. Hated every second. I appreciate all of your dedication for these types of games/achievements..
Normally in this vids I say you should try again if you didn’t get it the first time, but for this one you probably made the right choice LMAO
Much like I hated every second of this game in general.
Doing these impossible achievements in games is like my worst nightmare, and as someone who is NOT A COMPLETIONIST, I am glad that I do not go for these achievements (unless I am a master at that game)

@@patrickengland3076 Message me if you get stuck! There are some excellent guides on here but there are a few tricks they gloss over. For example the hazard kills only wave in Emporia is bugged. You can possess every enemy and still get the blue ribbon. Good luck!

I remember finishing this achievement around last year on Jan 4th, and that shit took forever, my entire Winter break. I watched a lot of tutorials and forums for solutions, which helped immensely. What a fucked up achievement. Glad you finally got it!
You've got my respect for putting yourself through this. I only have a handful of games I've done 100%. I *really* need to enjoy them to have the patience to do it.

This achievement is still one of my proudest gaming moments, this was incredibly rough but seeing that trophy was such a relief. This and Ultra Nightmare on Doom Eternal will always be my greatest achievements.

Ultra nightmare feels like a social experiment made to test people’s mental fortitude, there was murder on my mind dying to a dumb mistake on the final boss

When I did this, it was so tedious, but Bioshock was 1 of my favourite games to have played.

Holy crap I forgot about these challenges. I think I was actually able to repress the memory of doing them. Though it has been about five and half years since I did them so I'm sure time is apart of that forgetfulness. Solid completion and even better video.
This game was so great! I can't believe they haven't released a new BioShock in all these years... I wonder if they announced this was the last one & I just missed it
Shortly after this was released, they laid off 90% of their team and restructured. They switched to work on smaller indie style games. They still haven't released anything though.
There's a trailer out for a new game made by the same creator called Judas.
From what I understand the game wasn't well received when it came out but I could definitely be wrong about that. I love it and don't understand why anyone would really hate it but I've been seeing a lot of people shit on it or say they don't like it. Honestly tho kinda glad they didn't keep going eventually it'd have become a cash grab title like cod and I don't think anyone wants that lol
Unfortunately this game came out around the time all the suits gave up on singleplayer. Developer got nuked with layoffs.

I just binged all of your videos (except for the hollow knight one because I haven’t yet finished the game)- I’m loving your stuff! Definitely has me wanting to beat some of these achievements (possibly the Resi 2 one?). The only thing I’ve ever intensely achievement hunted for has been Guitar Hero 3- and I don’t even have a guitar to play with!

I just had 2 weeks off work and I took the time to play through BioShock 2 and infinite and infinite Dlc (for the first time). These games are freaking masterpieces.
Just woke up after a 14 hour shift at work last night, my body doesn't work so this definitely cheers my day up a huge amount :) happy new year

that enemy screaming at 19:40 reminds me of a silly thing that can happen on an old game called "Hexen":
if you play as the "priest" character and use his poison gas item against a "centaur" enemy, it will scream in a similar fashion.
oh, that enemy type has a shield that can block your attacks, BUT, it will always try to BLOCK the gas instead of moving away!
I once killed EIGHT of them with ONE gas bomb!

Oh yeah i got this achievement, and all the achievements in all bioshock games and their dlc's, i wouldn't say is extremely hard, it just takes time to know the modes and the right techniques.

Question: Have you ever played Stardew Valley? I know it may not be the style you usually play (based off what you've already showed on the channel) but it has a rare achievement that many players struggle with. Finishing The Journey of the Prairie King arcade game without losing a life! Seriously difficult despite the game being seemingly simple, and often infuriating for me personally 😆

Something about this reminds me of the Dishonored Dunwall Trials DLC achievements. Would LOVE to see you take those on at some point, they’re some of the hardest I’ve ever gotten

For the siren challenge, I used the vox volley gun (forgot the name), two full mags were enough to take down the siren before she could do anything! Really strong :)
props for the one who used DIg in your heels/Unwavering Belief from Lost Judgement.
I actually accidentally discovered the "hide the bodies from the Siren" trick because I just started firing rockets and volley gun grenades at her from above and it tossed them off the map.
I wrote a guide for this on Steam back in the day, it was a nightmare. I believe its still the top rated guide on the platform
I got this achievement in December of 2016 and haven't played the game since then.
