Is it just me or was Simon having a blast? It's nice to see him actually enjoying and learning a game well!
I reckon they only fuck with each other a lot if they don't really like a game. At least at first. And they only joke about your previous fuck ups later in the series if there is one. Ever notice that? It's especially noticeable in the ARK and 7 Days To DIe series with all of them. Early on, they're always joking or even sometimes complaining about fuck ups, but later on, they're mainly focused on the task at hand, but still joking. I guess it's their own way of getting used to a game.

got 1k hours in this game, and absolutely enjoyed watching every second of you guys playing. Also your drill has two screens, left screen is how much fuel you got, the right screen is your overheat, when it gets to 100% it needs to cool down :) + you fucking killed it with that flamethrower and c4 A++!!!

A game that is pure at heart.
This is a game that simply tries to be a game, nothing more nothing less, it is honestly satisfying.
It looks like the playability of Halo, the HUD layout looks like a HALO based layout that's Skyrim themed, with the graphics of Roblox mixed in with Apex Legends or Fortnite.

My intention is to point out that the summary is not wrong, but likely hard to comprehend for some random stranger who likely won't have played all these games.
I for my part have not played roblox and I can not claim myself to be someone who has a decent amount experience with Skyrim as well, which is why I wrote the preamble "as far as I am concerned".

Its good to finally see Simon really enjoy a game. Its kinda perfect for him. Well paced, lots o action, bright colors, lotsa splodey stuffs. And each match only takes about 20 minutes. Can't wait to see them do some deep dives or high haz missions.
They don't need high haz missions, in Haz 3 they'll see Bulk Dets and Oppressors, as well as Macteras, Cave Leeches, and Swarmers/Parasites. I do hope they make this a series because the game is just so fun, and with their personalities, they'd mix well with the game's dwarves!
And big green butts to shoot fire up.
Hope they keep it going. Since they're five of them, they could rotate whenever someone dies. Might work.
@@heisenstein6392 I can't see them making a series out of this honestly because it thrives in 4 player but they will always have one guy out. I imagine this will be a big streaming game for them though because it would be perfect then. The odd man out can handle the chat and streamlabs.

What Haz do you play on, Cheese? Cave Leeches feel like they spawn more frequently on Haz4/5 than lower ones.

If it's in the ceiling, it'll light the room and you'll avoid looking directly at the glare.
If it's in the ground, it shares the same plane as everything else we look at... And clutters up said plane with glare.
For first entering a room, clearing leeches and getting minerals yeah flares go on the ceiling. However some rooms such as in sandblasted or dense bio are so huge that if you put the flare on the ceiling it just doesn't reach the ground meaning you still are in darkness, so it pays to put it on the ground or mid height

Yes! Finally you are playing one of my favorite games that I have spent over 500 hours playing. The maps are randomly generated so it takes a long time before you see repeating elements. So much fun, you guys have made my day or year. Just awesome!
Can't stress how much I loved this video! I can see this being a regular thing for a while until all the maps are exhausted.
Every level is unique! Even the same mission in the same biome will be different layout and location of minerals each time. It is an awesome game!

Keep doing content like this, 2 - 4 of you playing a game and the other people backseat gaming. You could add a little bit of editing magic to it and make something similar to one of your survival series, but its own hybrid version.
My friends and I play this game all the time and it's so much fun. It's absolutely perfect for the Neebs crew! Many opportunities for funny moments and plenty of chances for friendly fire incidents.

Also, would love to see them tackle a lvl 4 difficulty. It goes super insane! lvl 5 is near insta-death, the moment you step outside the pod!

12:00, 25:15 for future reference guys those small gold flakes behind the red sugar that said health full means there's a big compressed gold nugget in the wall you can dig out for large pay out. there's also green, pink, white "flakes" that are different resources for crafting and buying stuff.

The game gets really good when you hit level 25 on a dwarr and get promoted. Better gun modifications (overclocks), cool machine missons you can find in caves, and deep dives
a few tips! the glowing red stuff is red sugar and heals you, Nitra, well you know already, its the darker red stuff that lets you buy supplies, purple stuff usually does nothing, you can use your scanner thingy to see what the material is.
also! those cave testies are Gunk seeds, they're just a second objective.

Simon as the Driller when the time comes for the drop ship just find the marker on the hud and drill to wherever it is! I found it easier than trying to navigate most zones when playing.

The editing during swarms, going from everyone blasting bugs rapid-fire and cutting to Dora in the corner frantically building a turret had my GF and I in tears. Hope there are some more Rock and Stone episodes to come!

...Simon couldn't figure out how to switch weapons without help? Despite it being the same system that's been in use in almost every FPS since the MS-DOS era, and the fact that he's played a bunch of games where he had to use that system to play them?
I understand the frustration, but I think in the podcasts Dora addresses the issue with Simon. Simon himself cant even explain it, his memory is just that bad when it comes to games. Its so weird since he seems like a pretty talented carpenter

@@mobsterlicous It's not just memory, it's lack of video game basics. As was said above, switching weapons is the same in every FPS since Doom, scroll or #s, I could pick up any FPS and I'd be FAR more surprised if those somehow didn't work. It's also things like the clear as day fire/heat icon on the drill that he thinks is a battery indicator, being unable to look in the corner or on the gun itself and see his ammo/fuel to know how much he has, seeing a bug with giant armor plates and a glowing green weak point and thinking "Lets attack the armor"
Simon seems like a great guy and has a fun personality, but I really wish there was just the tiniest bit of critical thinking from him.
@@MoadDib when we were growing up one of the kids in our main group was the same way but its not a lack of intelligence or any one thing like everyone is saying, reading all the comments about Simon shows me that like my friend they just get a sort of tunnel vision mind set on killing whats in the middle of the screen and become oblivious to their surroundings. now that i think about it I do it to a certain extent with high speed racing games.
@@4x4DemonWithin Don't get me wrong, I never thought Simon was lacking intelligence, I think you're right that in most cases he just tunnel visions to an insane degree, but that's something that can be worked on. If when he had a question, he spent just a second thinking "Maybe there's something directly on my screen that answers this." He'd be a whole lot better off.
However, he doesn't do this, he just tunnels in and never has that critical thinking step, and no one in the group calls him on this, so he's not going to get better. People don't get better if they don't know what the problem is.
The different roles you guys picked were perfect Simon digs holes so he can fall through them. Thick has the guns cus ya know he gets kills, Dora wid the turrets n appsro being the all-rounder.. ahh perfection

Also guys. The crystal at 12:03 was healing crystal not resupply stuff they're 2 different things. There's useless crystal. Healing crystal. and The resupply stuff (I can't remember the name) All 3 can be red. The useless crystal can be all kinds of colors including that purple stuff. And if you find anything big you can carry. Deposit it in Molly. If you see any glowing tiny rocks in a small circular area dig in that area you can usually find 1 (I think it's possible to get 2) large gems that are worth a lot.
Also Dora you can recall your turrets from anywhere they fly to you.
Glad I finally get to see what this game is about while watching my favorite crew. Looks like fun

To be a greenbeard again, not knowing what in getting into, or what will happen
absolutely make this a series!!! also some tips... the stuff you see collected at the bottom of the screen is each persons own collected stuff. you want to collect everything you can get your hands on for future upgrades or else you will need to grind for them and it wont be fun. if you see glowing speckles on the walls ceiling or floor you can dig into that and it will give you a large crystal worth A LOT. those balls you found were part of the secondary objective which you do not need to complete but you get more gold if you do. also there is a beer of the day after each mission that will give you a perk you need to read it before hand and you will need some special things gathered so like i said GATHER EVERYTHING YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON. Holy Crap! I never knew you guys were going to play this. It's one of my absolutely favourite games. The Dwarf personality is fleshed out so well here, and it's a chill, but intense and fun game overall. Can't wait to see what you guys do with this!

This is one of the best things I've seen as an armchair gamer.. Starship Troopers..Aliens movie turrets...Mines of Moria Dwarves...so many team work beats and overwhelming odds...Even the Platoon scene and leaving Simon behind...this was Awesome!!

Simon. The fuel for your drills is on the left drill! It’s a number and then L for litres! The right drill screen has a percentage for the heat of your drills. When your drills get too hot, they stop working, so let them get back to zero percent before you drill again.

Dora, if you place a new turret it just flies there by itself. you dont have to recall it. you can also recall it from anywhere you dont have to be close to it. You also have a lot of platforms you can shoot a lot of them to create bridges/stairs, can even nerdpole.
Thick, too steep means the angle is too sharp, take a step back.
Simon, press shift to sprint, doing great buddy.
Appsro, your grapple has unlimited ammo and a short cooldown, you can use it to spiderman around very quickly.

Comments?? It’s never funny, it hardly makes sense, and it shows you don’t have an ounce of originality.
This is awesome! I want more of this for sure. Maybe on a rotation so Neebs can get in on some of the action.
Few pointers.
1. F flare is infinte, you have 4 that recharge over time, use them.
2. You guys seem to be confused about classes. They all have different loadouts, skills and abilities.
3. Scout class flare is finite, dont waste it.
4. Ammo and anything that consumes ammo is finite, dont waste it.
5. The red GLOWING stuff is health replenisher, dark red stuff lining the walls is Nitra. Know the difference.
6. Use CTRL to mark and identify stuff from distance.
7. Gunner has best swarm defense, set up a zipline thats away from floor, walls or ceiling and just zoom back and forth shooting in all directions.
8. Simon being classic Simon cant tell the difference between overheat gauge and fuel gauge on his drill arms.
