The Sharingan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan that appears selectively among its members. It is regarded as one of the "Three Great Dōjutsu", the others being the Byakugan and the Rinnegan. While its powers originated from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's Rinne Sharingan, its independent form was first manifested by Indra Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki in the anime).

@@paudelkancho3017 it's useful since in part 2 the byakugan that hinata had manifested could see up to 5km through buildings with no fault. You can also control people's chakra with more precision that the sharingan

My theory is that he probably did, but he chalked it up to it being flashbacks and/or nightmares since the only time the share vision thing was shown was during a time of great stress/grief/rage which in both cases were Rins death which is why i think Kakashi took it even harder. He was pulling double duty on ptsd and for Obito was just more fuel for his rage.

I always thought the sharingan was one of the coolest techniques in fiction but kishimoto seemed like he didn't know what to do with it so he just kept adding abilities... seems like the question is more like what can't the sharingan do?

I think that the rinnegan can be awakened faster if an uchiha learns to use nature energy and grafts hashirama’s cells, Madara never learned sage mode so it took him longer to awaken the rinnegan

Let's talk about how Obito spedran the sharingan. Firstly he skipped the first tomoe and went immediately to 2 tomoe, then gained 3 tomoe for a split second then immedately went to mangekyou sharingan.
But hagoromo awakened it faster
Obito might have to something diffrent to shave off a few ms

This is perfect for me. I recently started rewatching Naruto and this is exactly what I needed.
Maybe the abilities of someones mangekyou relates to how they accuired it: Obitos lamui could've saved rin by making the chidori phase through her, Itachis tsuikiyomi is the second best sharigan genjutsu only beaten by kotoamatsukami who was shisuis ability, Sasukes version of amaterasu was given to him by itachi and his control of black flames was so he could surpass itachi

Its theorized that Fugaku had Amaterasu in one of his Mangekyo because of blood relation to both Itachi and Sasuke, and its also theorized that Izuna had Amaterasu because Tobirama Senju the younger brother of Hashirama Senju knew about the ability before his death, in the waring states period Tobirama and Izuna were kinda rivals in the regard to one another as they would fight each other for so long and in that time period Izuna had awakened his pair of Mangekyo

I find it strange that the Anime chose to give Sasuke Indra's exact Mangekyo being his reincarnation, but Madara, also Indra's reincarnation, had a unique design. Definitely a missed opportunity to create a sick design for the original Mangekyo wielded by the original Uchiha.
Additionally, its most likely due to the fact that most of the Kaguya flashback in the anime isn't canon to Kishimoto's manga. A little more attention to detail by the anime team could have meant for some amazing stuff.
Also indra and ashura's abilities were just generic reskins of rasengan and chidori, definitely a huge missed opportunity for some badass new original jutsu

If I remember correctly Madara's Mangekyou & Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan was a type of time manipulation that allowed him to turn back time a few seconds and change the outcome of a battle.

I think Shisui is objectively the best Sharingan user. His sharingan is plot breaking level. Which makes his tragic fate necessary.
@@Rice8003 Shisui has the most hax ability but Obito used his the best, also the second most hax ability but his finesse with it is second to none. Itachi is great with his and I would say second best wielder but Obito not just using Kamui as a teleportation thing but also as a way to fight is crazy. If he had both he'd probably be teleporting people while hitting them with jutsu in the Kamui dimension.
I've always been curious as to why Itachi's Susanoo wielded special weapons like the Totsuka blade and the Yata mirror while Sasuke and Madara's just had regular swords. Maybe that's just a display of how truly gifted/special Itachi was. Or probably just some reference to Japanese myth that I'm too American to understand.
Orochimaru's commentary during the fight seems to be that Itachi found them somehow (and orochimaru was looking for the sword in particular).
@@hatad321 I do recall that, but that fact that the weapons materialize and dissipate along with the Susanoo lead me to believe that Orochimaru's statement is misleading. I personally think that the weapons do not have a true-constant physical form and were called back into existence when Itachi first unlocked his MS. Not that Itachi found/claimed the weapons in the real world. The only other weapons with special properties like this are the ninja tools created by Hagoromo. So id guess that he created these weapons and blesses a worthy ninja with them on occasion.

@@adainjarrio Yes Indra's Arrow was named for a legendary figure in the verse but i do not think it was existed. At least there was never additional information that proves it opposed to Orochimari stating that he was in search of the Totsuka blade.

Well the thing is Naruto wasn't standing right by him. He was lying on the ground, weakened after Baryon Mode and was about to lose Kurama shortly after that. He couldn't have done anything. I do however not like that Sasuke getting stabbed in the eye was done so easily (and by Boruto).
Boruto writing is pretty terrible, and the story is boring so far.
@@Kyubone It wasn't just Boruto, it was Borushiki. Sasuke's guard was down so he didn't know, he was also highly fatigued after fighting Ishikki. Also the attack happened in milliseconds.
Remember we see the fight because it's slowed down but in relative speed, the ninja are moving probably as fast as a plane in combat... Maybe faster. I mean we know Naruto is probably lightspeed but Boruto's speed feats isn't really known but we do know he's pretty quick regardless.

i have a theory that actually sharingan was supposed to evolve into rinnegan not mengekyo sharingan but becuase of indra it became mengekyo. and indra didn't acquire the rinnegan but instead mengekyo becuase he was more human than otsusuki, lets just say indra was 30% otsusuki and 70% human and hagoromo awakened rinnegan becuase he was 60% otsusuki and 40% human

Actually, Non-Uchicha can de-activate the sharingan, but it is only possible if the original uchiha had de-activated the sharingan before the eyes were transplanted
Edit: It also takes a lot of chakra to de-activate and activate the sharingan for Non-Uchiha
