  • Shady Blues - Peter Black - Classical Guitar - Blues
    This performance on the classical guitar is a piece that I put together myself. Obviously blues is a genre of music and I have to credit certain people with influencing the kind of blues that I play. First I would like to mention a fabulous artist called Kris Buckle. It was watching Kris that first gave me the idea of tapping the guitar strings to get a rhythm, he actually taught me a way to do it. I have to credit a musician and physicist called Mike Medora. As far as I am concerned Mike is an expert on Latin and Blues music, as well as a cutting edge holographic designer. I have spent many late nights with Mike learning latin grooves and blues licks, and this song wouldn't be the same without him. Finally I want to credit Eric Clapton, as I stole some of the licks he does in 'Before You Accuse Me' on his 90's album 'Unplugged'. I hope you enjoy it.
    Peter Black is a guitar teacher and gives guitar lessons in Wanstead as well as on Skype.
    Peter Black performs regularly as wedding musician, wedding guitarist, wedding ceremony musician, a corporate events entertainer and also performs for private parties.

    The nylon strings sound the best for blues. It gives it that cheap, authentic “front porch” sound. Excellent playing

    • @peterblackofficial
      @peterblackofficial  Před 7 lety +1

      Hi mate, basically there is every chance of that vid you want. I am setting up a new website right now, and I plan to get back to videos in Feb 2017. I am really planning to put up at least one video per week and I won't be using a videographer that wants to do anything 'arty' all the videos will be with a fixed camera shot with both hands in view. So hopefully you will like my new videos much more. Thanks very much for watching and for commenting!

    Any guitarist who wants to attain your level of competence should first look at their fingers.
    If they're not as long as yours, they might as well forget it. FACT.
