- Testing with Ps4 and Ps5! I decided i needed another analog stick for my thumb, but i dont liketo change things. so i have a hidden analog stick for dualshock, xbox games etc. looks nice and youd never know it was there. less is more!

For years I wondered if there was any arcade-type video game joystick to be able to play 3D games like Mario 64 or Zelda Ocarina of Time. the wait is over tank you
Very smart! Beautifully done 👍🏽
I'm amazed at how smoothly everything runs. There seems to be no lag or glitches from what I can tell. Great work.
This machine and all of its functionality is simply beyond next level awesome!
Thank you :) to this day, I'm still adding more stuff to it. ;)
Would you mind doing an actual in-depth tutorial as to how you done this please it’ll be nice to see and know if that’s possible.
Nice set up also
🙏

You are an absolute mad man/wizard. Bravo!
This is amazing! Good work!
It would be better if the right thumb joystick had a touch sensor like the one on the steam deck
Not a bad idea, definitely a step forward into the future of arcade
There is a way to "map" the analog joystick by "pressing" a button and then moving the joystick to move forward and see 360 degrees.
Awesome! I'm working with the same cabinet.
Thank you! A man that understands that in order to be official, you have to play with the controls on the arcade cabinet and NOT a game pad.
Thats really cool, what kind of button is that?
Is the question is how did you do it. Great idea. That system I just defaulted to gotta use blissbox
Nice demo, but we all could benefit more from a behind the scenes demo on how you got all the different consoles to map to the cabinet controls.
Great work. You should do a write-up/ tutorial on the control panel build. What's the little screen above the trackball for? And how thick is the plexi on the panel? Oh and what encoder did you use? If you made a tutorial all of these questions would be answered already lol.
Well, My friend, here is part 1 though part 3.. ;) czcams.com/video/j7aeH7A0T6w/video.html
@@donannis , awesome; thanks.
I want 8 analog stick buttons that you created how I go about get it.
neat!
Podrías compartir enlace del analógico que utilizaste para tu creación? Muy interesante.
Interesting idea. Certain systems I prefer a controller, and other systems (gameboy) there are lots of games I prefer an arcade stick.
Do you have any handhelds? I use Batocera on my Odroid Go Advance. Now I find I like Batocera more than BigBox on pc
Hi Don … would you mind sharing what specific components you used to light and control your RGB lights within the control panel. What voltage lights and the controller type or power source. I’m having an issue on configuring my RGB LEDs not being bright enough if I connect them to an ipac64. Thank you.
The hidden analog stick is super cool but the "Loading complete" sound would get disabled in about 0.00002 seconds. 😆 lol
Where did you get the main arcade stick? I thought all arcade sticks were digital
S P E T T A C O L A R E...
Can you make a tuto on how to add an analog stick?
when yo dropping the tutorial?
Hi Don. Pretty cool analogue stick-button. What button did you use? How do you get to boot ps4 and ps5 consoles on your system? Thanks
Hi Don. Its been a while. Do you mind explaining how to add your ps5 to the cabinet? any tutorials you can point out to? thanks
If I had to guess you hollowed out a button, stuck the stick in there and the stick pressed the cherry switch. But what did you do to get the stick to work
Very Close! gonna be honest, it was a big pain In the ass. I had to dremel out clear buttons and put in analog stick. But here is a link to the stuff. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08J47Y4X4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&fbclid=IwAR2d9rgZy2ll3ToFu1U0ksjURr4Eb-uZkB3cCnAPtmR2g700y3ERjXmSBrM and www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQ26TKS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&fbclid=IwAR3ZLKSaxET3jEQTQusXX9TEqpeRv1L250fwYtyxjdtHkuoIluPZxaXlAqA
Then I had to install LED's on the bottom sides of the Clear buttons to show light though.
How did you add the PS4 to that, nice trick
genius!
Take My Money where did you get this? And how can I have one?
How the heck do you get the PS4/XBOX machines hooked up to that? Wow.
it's super cool that it can be done.. but I'd rather play on the couch than standing up
@@mrburns366 it sounds like he has both options. O_o
Why did you remove the capacitive touch from the control panel?
That was a different control panel. That one was a spacex design, this is a different one
What front-end is that?
what encoder are you running for the control deck?
i'm running 2x Ipac Ultimatesc and U360 joysticks
Where did you get the analog stick that replaced the button?
Also, are you emulating PS5 and Xbox series X, or did you add those consoles into your arcade?
@@rollinsgi they are being remotly accessed. I have them stream over gig connection.
I made the analog stick button from analog sticks and hollowed out button
@@donannis good job!
@@donannis Any lag with it? I've tried remote play but it's horrible over WIFI.
nice, but would you really want to stand and play a game like god of war for 3+ hours??
Haha, nope, I do have a nice cushioned bar stool I use though.
I was giving some thought to this when Dragon's crown released and I could use the additional stick for a curser. I also think this would work well on 2D games that need the aiming mechanic like Flashback and Strider remakes.
Woowwww
That control panel is miles too big for that little screen. playing on this crap you will feel out of the scene
The Screen is a 30" IPS 16:10, bigger than the 25" CRT 4 player ninja turtles. The screen is plenty big. the control panel is big enough to give everyone a little room. you see the small control panel Arcade 1 Up is using for their mini arcade? Try and play 4p on that.. ;)
@@donannis These cabs always looked wrong to me though. For a 4 player cab I would have chosen a better one. I would hate to be player on the ends
@@onenessseeker5683 I guess to each their own, I've had 4 players over and we've had a blast. Playing some streets of rage 4. the screen is IPS and not hard at all to see at an angle, the side controllers are not angled which is the correct way of doing things. This is based off the very popular Space Paranoids 4 player CP which you can google, It's the DeFacto in 4 player CPs ;) If your interested, you can watch the 4 part series I made on it's making! - czcams.com/video/j7aeH7A0T6w/video.html
@@donannis This style is better for 4 players cause every person would be in the scene feeling a part of what's going on & not being shut out czcams.com/video/BM0IFeSRwqg/video.html
@@onenessseeker5683 I hate black bars, the aspect ratio is all wrong, look here: czcams.com/video/BM0IFeSRwqg/video.html now take a look at mine: czcams.com/video/VkZBaV_pPeE/video.html No black bars on the sides. Arcades never came with a 60 inch TV in them.. Unless they were the newer gun games or raw thrills, but those are a different story. My screen looks smaller because it's Angled to the back. it's actually gigantic when your looking at an angle. I just have the camera pointed head on.
