Just ordered my Cordless Envy and thinking about getting this blade as well. By the prices of the blades, might as well buy the Fade clippers to use the blade and still have a power coded clippers as a backup. It’s only a few more dollars more 🤷🏽♂️
I changed the blade and its great. Thanks for the video. Put the blade it came with on my andis camo clippers. Cordless is so much better and they are nice and light.

I go back and forth with the fade blade and the taper blade on the envy I end up just putting the taper blade back on it because if u have the Andis fade master you will never pick this machine up!!! But with the taper blade to me it's More valuable especially if you like to fade using the Andis guard system vs. using the Magic Clip and the wahl system.

Dope video I'm thinking about swapping blades on my Envy's but I'm not familiar with the differences in cutting since I'm not a barber and advice?
Dizzy Roth the difference is one is a fade blade , and one is a taper blade . The fade blade makes it easier on skin fades or low fades in general ... but if zero gaped to close it can pull on the clients skin . The taper blade can do the same but with more work on the bald line . Hope that helps

I have a question with zero Gap in do you do you have to open up the blade a lil every time you put a new guard on and the Andis t outliner when seting the blade do u hold it down and tighting it till u cant no more
this would've been so nice if you could've did a comparison cut or at least cut some hair to let us see how it performs ugh....🤦🤦🤦but oh well🤷.....i did the exact same modification on a Walmart clipper!!! I switched it up and the fade blade is cool for smoothing Afros and stuff but the fades didn't do so well

marcello kendall I don't know where to get the battery I'm sure Andis will replace it if you contact them . If not just type in replacement battery and Clipper name in the search bar on eBay and go from there . Hope that helps , I appreciate you watching my video hope you decide to stick around 🙌🙏

Daniel Aguirre the Andis Master original blade wouldn't fit this Envy clipper unfortunately .

Daniel Aguirre no the Fade Blade cuts different than the Master and original Envy blade . The original Envy blade cuts just like any Taper blade .
What’s the fade replacement blade for? Is there sum out there like a triple 0 guard for bald skin fade?
I use this clipper for skin fades so I rock a fade blade on it , not the taper blade . In my opinion it works better this way .
Awwreddy, but does it cut to the skin? I use these clippers but I have to backdoor & use a razor to shave.

BRANONE415 I'm not sure about that one , I also tried the andis ceramic blade and it didn't fit so it's hit and miss .
Ant The Barber yeah Im pretry sure that that the ceramic side won't fit cause of the detachable blade notch on the clipper side. But looks like the hole location on the bottom blade side looks identical. Gonna try it once I get them. Thanks again!

Hey bro whats up! Hey man I zero gapped my Envy Li and accidentally loosened the screws too much to where the blade fell off. I went to put everything back and noticed ever since the sound on the clipper has changed it sounds a lot louder, seems like its lost tension. I can't find a way to adjust that. Any help or tips are appreciated.

I no longer use that clipper , and never had that issue so im not sure how to correct that 🙏🏽

When you charge for the first time 2-5 hours or so that it says on the manual. Does the light ever turn off to tell you it’s completely charged?
I can't remember but it should , I no longer use this clipper .

Christopher Diaz those come a fade blade . I use the 1mm-3mm 2-Hole blade in the magic clips
Does this blade cut near 00000 when zero gapped ?
I never used the 00000 blade but yes it basically cuts down to a little past stubble if that makes since , almost skin .

Kester Ugo tons of videos on CZcams how to set blade , I like to leave a few hair strands length between the cutting blade and steal blade . Some people like to zero gap completely but I like to play the safe side and go with a few strands ... hope that helps .

I didn't spend much time with this clipper to be honest , I prefer the taper blade but that's just preference

To DIY people, it's an easy mod to make a double magnet to a single magnet....
Is it ? Were can I find that ?
I don't have a set of dual magnetic guards, but just by looking at the guards, I would start by Popping out the 2 magnets. I would then place one magnet in the middle of the guard and trace it ( of course, using an original single magnet guard as a guide ) cut the whole in the guard, put the magnet in the guards new magnet hole. Grab an old broken, same kind of guard and hold it above your new single magnet guard and light it on fire. Be careful and when the guard starts to melt, let couple of drops fall on the magnet. It'll make the molding when it cools. Use same material kind of guard so it could bond and it won't add weight. Use a blade or sand paper to make it look pretty. U can use other stuff to hold the magnet but it can get heavier. Again, this is just by looking at it. I don't have a dual magnet guard. And yes, I've done stuff like this...

Christopher Diaz once you have the blade set to where you want hold it in place and begin to tighten the screws a lil at a time switching back in forth so they stay in place where you want .

Hi there, just a quick question. I have this clipper with the fade blade on but i find that the open lever doesnt bkend into the 0 guard very well. Nor does the 1 open bkend into the 2 at all. Been a life long wahl user and i just cant get my head around why the upgraded guards still dont blend? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Big Lew they have a new version single mags andis came out with and they blend together beautifully now! You can go Sally’s and pick them up I did a review on them and they are dope imo

honestly i have both except i have the cordless envy li nation and i put a and is pro alloy fade blade on it and it out performs my magic clip its all a preference and hype imo and i got the new guards with my li nation which are the same as the double magnetic except with out the magic they a are just snap on and they are light years different from the original envy li guards and they came with a half and a 11/2 guard!! and I'm going to be honest with you my wahl cordless sterling 4 are killing my magic clip! i put a two hole slide on my sterling 4 and a fade blade and they feel like the new cordless senior
buckwitme1 so I bought the magic clips and premium guards, zero gapped then. I LOVE being cordless and they cut quickly through thick hair, BUT.... I’ve notice they don’t blend between open/close like my masters! So idk I’m slightly bummed I don’t have time to be using every machine on a haircut lol. Time is Money. Open for any other advice or pointers TY for responding although I already bought the magic clips, I feel like I should have went Li - T
yea the magic clip have a shorter blade than andis! and the guard system is what i don't like about the magic clip! the li blend very well imo my suggestion would be for you to put a taper blade on magic clip and see if it blends better which i think it does because the fade blade can leave a hard line and takes more to blend out between open and closed so try going to get a taper blade at beauty supply store near ya and see if that makes a difference but which I'm sure that what your issue is

Yeah i have the same question as well. Seems like its discontinued or something. They have andis fade master replacement blade which the screw holes are different from the andis envy li blades

Only thing Andis should fix on the single magnet guards is the "0" and "1" guard they are ×exactly the same 🤨 not like the double

Why we spent a lot money for it then we must replace blade?? Andis manufacturer is suck or what? Engineering is damned on design but why we choose this brand?? People are crazy.
