I just wanted you to know that I did your hack and added a ceramic blade... So I added the wall Sr blade to the envy li it got hot so I added a ceramic blade to it... They are 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Bro I put the pro ally blade on my andis nation envy!! And I’m a wahl guy but these envy li with the fade blade are dang on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!the best clipper I use!!! These envy will take out any line you throw at it!!! And I just got the new andis premium gaurds yesterday so they are extra fire now!!! I don’t need the new cordless seniors now!!!!!!

yea they are a very dark blue and they don't come with 1/2 and 11/2! but i love them they are dope i like them better than the magnetic imo! get them bro trust me they are dope high quality! but my envy andis nation came with a 1/2 and 11/2! they must sending them with those guards now i must got a new par that they just sent out! but get these premium guards bro! trust me they are dope

I put the Masters blade on the cordless Envy LI fade (the black Andis Nation with the graffiti crowns). I must say the only way to get the double magnetic Nano guards(purple) to fit 100% perfect is to use the Masters screws (w some BLUE threadlocker). Maybe some Wahl screws might fit flush, but I'm a Andis guy so not sure. I also have it zero gapped just as close as My real Masters. With them being zero gapped so tight, They don't open to a true 1, but neither do my real Masters because of same reason. I measured and they open and close exactly the same. Also people, DO NOT use threadlocker for the lever screw- it WILL eventually melt and expand the hole(it screws into plastic). ALL threadlocker states so on the package. Great video!
Got another hack 3 years later change the motor for a 7200rpm motor for wahl senior or 1919 on aliexpress or Ebay, Amazon, etc.. With the 7200 rpm motor is the Best machine ever
Thanks for the Video! So I went ahead and modded mine with the wahl blade. Worked great! The only I noticed. The blade for some reason gets hot a lot faster. Other than that. Works great!
I’ve heard that from a few people. I haven’t had that problem at all. I wonder if you guys are cutting slow.
@@TRAVELBARBERLIFE maybe. About 20 minutes for a taper. And about 3-4 minutes in, it was pretty warm, as I was changing the guards i felt it. But I have been looking around. People have been experiencing the same and one extra thing they have done was add a Ceramic moving blade to it. They report it cuts as good and stays cooler longer.
I just ordered my self some Andis Nation version because of this video picked over my magic clips hopefully they don’t disappoint me I ordered the fading blade also I’m a Wahl type of person but these Andis are straight fire 💈🙏🏽

I had 2 magic clips and I put the Wahl senior blade on one of them. I had the same exact effect compared to the Wahl fade blade it came with.

Hey! The senior fade blade should work, as well as the Wahl guard system. I used the exact same setup that you mentioned in this video.
MMA BARBER LIFE sorry I had not see all the video. Perfect. With this way I put the cheap andis gray color guards out of my workstation and for a while I don’t buy the single magnet guards and use Wahl premium guards with senior head....Thanks a lot.
I have the same issue with 2 magic clips did a blade swap with a Wahl taper blade. It sounded less powerful. I swapped it back and it still sounds less powerful. That magic clip I now turned into a balding clipper.
The benefit that I have with it is, I prefer a clipper that cuts slower. Overall the swap has been great for me. I've been fading with the Wahl guards alot lately.
Mayb the weight of the wahl senior blades are to heavy for the envy li to run.
Just used them double magnetic guards on a fast feeds clippers. They work perfectly in those clippers

Yup! That is easy to interrupt. Just know how much length you want on top and any barber should be able to understand that. Glad you like the vids.

I was able to use the screws & the cutting blade from the wall blade. What was the problem that you were coming across besides the screws?
So if you can switch and put on the Wahl Senior blades can you also use the Wahl Senior ceramic blade with it if so that's a game changer..

I got it from my local beauty supply. I would recommend a detachable for balding instead. It’s more efficient, better, and will last longer.
Hey bro whats up! Hey man I zero gapped my Envy Li and accidentally loosened the screws too much to where the blade fell off. I went to put everything back and noticed ever since the sound on the clipper has changed it sounds a lot louder, seems like its lost tension. I can't find a way to adjust that. Any help or tips are appreciated.

Only the blades in this vid without modding or buying brackets. You can also use Wahl blades that have the same hole pattern.
Could I put a 6x0 blade from the balding wahl and ceramic blades to my envy li cordless?
Not sure. Depends on the location of the holes.
I have an idea for you. I was gonna do a vid myself but would also enjoy watching one on the andis fade blade vs the Wahl crunch and fade and maybe their new blade on the cordless magic clip. I lean more towards andis BUT that fade blade be snagging. Thoughts?
The fade Blade is easy to use when using it correctly. I had the same problem until I started using it correctly. You have to keep it flat and not angle it. Also, try not to zero gap it because it’s extremely sharp.

I swapped mine the video to the senior fade blade. I also use Masters. So, I use the Senor & Masters blades. I just don’t like the Envy blade. Didn’t seem to cut very precise for me.

Great video! Since you have put the Wahl blade on the Envy, what does the Envy cut like? Is it now similar to a Wahl Magic or the cordless Wahl Senior? Or would it be another set of clippers?
I kinda takes on its own personality, but if I had to choose, I’d say it cut like a Senior.

Great video man. Quick question, would this envy li original blade( the curvy one) be good just for balding head ? Cause i've using an andis pm-3L corded for a long time and it kinda has the same curvy blade and i love it personally, so i was wondering if the envy would kinda do the same thing unless those curvy blades are different...

Sure! It can cut hair down to 000. If that’s the length you’re looking for than it’s fine.
Is the bevel blade the same as the Phat blade? And can I put it on my masters?
No, the bevel blade is different. You cannot fit any of these blades on the masters.
When balding out with the Andis fade blade, does it cut as a trimmer length?
It all depends on how each are set. If the fade blade is zero gapped, yes! If your trimmers are zero gapped and modified, its close. Hope that helps
Would you recommend zero gapping the basic andis li blade that comes with clipper? I’m cutting my own hair with out a guard with the lever close to the top.

Those are the only ones that fit. You can buy the 1.5 guard for it. It blends perfectly into the 2 if you’re having that problem

Question when you're not using your Envy Li do you leave it on the charger or do you remove it from the charger when the light goes off?
When I’m not using them, I don’t leave them on the charger. I also remove them when they’re full. I do that to all my rechargeable items.

I might make a video on the conversion, but it’s pretty intuitive. The surgical blade may come down to your comfortably level with them. I had that problem before and sold my fade masters because of it.

I noticed my andis fade blade cuts way to close opened up! It damn near gets bald in open position! Do yours get that low!!! I can’t do any detailing with it!
Yup! That’s the fade Blade for ya. You have to remember that it opens from a 00000-000, which are both pretty close. The Andis fade Blade isn’t meant to do any detailing without guards.

The Wahl fade blade opens up to a half. I use the same Blade as the senior.

Bro don't shelf them, do the Andis masters modification on them that way you can use the Andis double magnetic gaurds and bring them back to life

It’s swaps over just fine. Make sure you use both Wahl cutting and still Blade. Also, use the Andis screws.

90%of the barber's in the world use magic or senior,,,,, and when i talk about the andis envy il they say it's not strong or not good enough.... 🙄 🙄 but they are very good, barbers need to start open and use different brands of clippers to know what's the difference... for me i love this clippers andis envy il.

If I make let’s say a number 2 guide line how far do I go up yo the 2 guideline with the number one to blend and get the line out can I go all the way up to the 2 guideline with the one open and closing? MMA BARBER LIFE andis guards the new ones that come with envy li they now blend into each other! And I use the magnetic double magnetic
I honestly never used the new Andis guards. I don’t wanna suggest anything and have you fuck up somebody. If you were solely using the double magnetics, I would say just go right underneath the 2 with the 1 1/2 and you will be fine because the doubles blend well into each other. Only because I used them. Sorry that I couldn’t give you good advice for those new guards.

If you wanted to still use the surgical blade on the Cordless Envy’s or any cordless Wahl clipper, Andis has another fade blade for the Pro Alloy that doesn’t pull. I put that blade on my Senior’s to use the Andis’ guard system

It looks like it doesn't open up as long as i'd like. I have noticed that the blade blade does do work, even with the single magnetic guards.

seems too much trouble to buy different blades, modify, etc. almost seems better to purchase a different cordless clipper.

Put the Andis fade Blade on it, zero gapped them, and took the lever off. Simple and easy

The Envy’s are good clippers, and no it isn’t doing too much. You’ll be surprised that a lot of your favorite barbers used the Envy’s the way I have them set up.
If you like the wahl blade then why not just get cordless sensors?!
