Let's be honest. Highbury would not have had its finest moments without Arsene. It was His garden .

I live on Highbury Fields and there really is something special about the whole area. I love living here and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else in London.

Highbury was something special ... 93 years of unparalleled experience that even the might of the Emirates can't recreate .... it has seen accomplishments that the new stadium seldom have brought...... after 16 years.... I'm still questioning if it was worth it.

yes the infra was aging and arsenal wanted to be a European club, also its a decision taken under wenger so I bet he must have had a vision

i think if there was an effort made to make emirates like highbury they could but never tried,
like having more seats closer to pitches

Chelsea fan here. Never had a bad word to say about Highbury. Yes, it was a necessary evil to leave and go to the Emirates, but the memories of Highbury will last a lot longer than those of the Emirates ever will.

too small for the club that big. sad to admit but it's true. Arsen have built the club for future generations. Training grounds. Academy. Stadium. They may have cost him a few titles, cause he had to sell best players and all that, but he has sacrificed the titles for the better future of the club. Not many people understand that.
