- Highbury meant (and still means) a lot to Arsenal fans.
When they had to say goodbye, they did it in style - playing their last game at Highbury with a special redcurrant kit, commemorating the first-ever Gunners strip.
May 7, 2006 was an unforgettable day for Arsenal fans as they left their home.
But what's the story behind that kit and why do fans still love it so much? We found out...

This is the kit we want a remake of or an updated version. The kit that made me fall in love with the team
I wish I saw Arsenal play at the Highbury one last time. Good ol' days ❤️

quality!
Nice Video, The Trick Arsenal missed on that kit is the absence of The 1930s Art Deco crest. That kit would have been perfect with that.
Glad LFC could remain at Anfield

Thanks for the video, i always wondered why they wore that shirt. I heard they'll wear a similar one next season.
I would love us to return to the old 05-06 shirt. Maybe as a 3rd kit.
