Never thought of sending Mettā to the committee of the self. Great tip.
The statement on acceptance Was a gem as well.

Thanks Beth for this great info. I have a question however-- what about directing the loving kindness towards more "difficult" beings? Also, you mentioned not to focus on the feeling of loving kindness but rather the beings. I'm slightly confused by this as surely it would be both the feeling AND the beings that are focused on? Lastly, in later stages of this meditation, would you say that the object changes into a more expansive non-dual sense of living kindness? Thank you for your time! I've been practicing this for a while but never properly heard instructions for it.

Hello, thank you for your questions. I think it would be best to discuss these things one on one so that we can be sure we are fully understanding each other. Please feel free to book an appointment through my website.

Can you please give examples on "easy beings"?

An easy being would be any being that we fid naturally easy to love. However it should be a being that we don't have too much attachment or emaotional feeling towards. It could be someone that we like and respect, like a teacher or a work colleague for example.
